"If Something's Broken, You Fix it"
That one day in potions where professor Snape had to completely freak out changed everything. It all started, when a couple of seventh years, by the names of Ronald Weasley, and Harry Potter, completely and utterly destroid a simple sleeping potion.
"Mr. Weasley, pardon my asking, but WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?" Severus Snape yelled, Ron Weasley cowered and Harry Potter hid his face, not out of shame, but out of horror. Snape had been mad before, but not like this. Right now, he had just blown his top.
"Explain to me why the hell you would even consider putting the eye of newt into a sleeping potion!" He growled. He was furious.
"Everyone get OUT!" Harry and Ron attempted to sneak out discreetly. "Not. You. Two." He growled, as the class disperssed, Harry and Ron were left with a very, VERY angry potions master.
"This is NOT good!" Ron hissed, barely above a whisper, to Harry.
"You don't say!" Harry retorted.
"Potter, Weasley, what have you got to say for yourselves?" He snapped. Neither boy said anything. "Okay, I see. Well, thanks to your carelessness, I now need a new brewing table and a repaired cauldron. Weasley, seeing as most of the damage was at your hand, you work on the table. Potter, you get to fix the cauldron. Two-hundred points from Gryffindor. And detention, every night, in here, the next month and a half." He then turned and walked towards the door.
"But sir-" Ron started.
"But nothing Mr. Weasley. The table is broken. When something is broken, you fix it. That is how things work, do not argue with me if you wish to graduate before you expire." Snape snapped again. Both boys looked confused for a moment. "Die, before you die you dunderheads." He growled and stalked out of the classroom. Professor Snape had no idea that he had given Mr. Potter some very useful information.
When something is broken...what about someone? If you fix something that is broken, do you fix someone that is broken? You must. Certainly you do. Yes I'm sure of it. That settle's it professor, I am going to fix you, because you, are most definitely, a broken man. Harry thought as he finished fixing the cauldron. He didn't even bother to say good bye to Ron, he was to fixated in his thoughts to realize. He just left, brainstorming up ideas, on how to fix a broken man.
I just started this fanfiction, and really really wanted to post it and see what people thought of it. So if you could comment and tell me if you like it and/or want me to continue, it would be much appreciated! -Nicole
