I stepped out into the balcony. Ron and Harry's Quidditch arguments were giving me a headache. I took the pins out of hair and let it fall. It was pretty nice outside.

I looked down at my hands. I wasn't wearing the flowers that a guy puts on a girl's wrist when they go to prom. Well, what did I expect? Ron was never going to ask me. He was too busy staring at Lavender's assets. Ugh.

"Enjoying the view, Granger?" I didn't have to turn around to recognize Malfoy's drawl.

"Yes, Malfoy, I am enjoying the view. I'd rather stand out here than in there and see Ron show everyone just how pathetic he is."

Malfoy let out a laugh so loud that I had to turn around and see what was so funny. Oh God! He is gorgeous! If I weren't holding onto the railing, I would've been a puddle by now. The school uniform did not do him any justice at all. He had broad shoulders. A narrow waist. A well toned body, I should say.

"So I take it that you don't have a date?"

"…"

"Well. I don't have a date, either."

I looked at him. He was blushing. What's going on?

"So…erm…"

"Doing okay there, Malfoy?"

"I actually wanted to ask a girl to prom, but I wasn't sure if she would say yes."

I stared at him. What?! Why wouldn't she say yes? He is hot!

"In fact, she is here right now. She is in a lovely red dress." As he said this, his face turned beet red. A color that could compete with Ron's hair and win. How cute.

I looked down at my red dress. Was he hinting at something? It was my turn to turn red now.

"So, Hermione, would you do me the honor of going to prom with me?" Was he hyperventilating? It looked like he was having trouble breathing. I felt warmer.

"Um…"

"Wow, looks like your blush doesn't stop at your collarbone."

I looked down. He was right. The blush disappeared under my red dress. Oh god. The hottest guy in history is asking me to prom at prom.

I looped my arm through his. "It would be my pleasure. I would love to be your date, Draco."

What do you guys think? I dreamed of this today. Lol. REVIEW!
