(A.N: Hey people, I decided to do the happy ending as well because Rock Raider makes a good point. Not enough people let their characters survive in test fics. I've got one called My Baby Shot Me Down that has the character surviving and I originally wanted Jake to survive. But I thought the one where he died was pretty good too. Enough of that, here's the happy ending).

Jake was so close. Blood was spilling out of the roof of his mouth. More like gushing actually. If Jake stayed in one place of the floor too long, a stain that would be impossible to erase would accumulate there. Jake pushed on. The fish hooks were so deep that he didn't understand how they hadn't touched his brain. The wires from them were rubbing against his face and kept scraping against his eyes. His tear ducts were going to get torn off if they continued to scrape against them. Come on, Flomany! Get over it! Just beat this creep! Jake said to himself. He kept going and going. So did the blade. It was as close to his spinal colum as he was to the door.

The blade was getting closer.

Just a little more, Jake thought.

The fish hooks dug deeper.

It's almost out! Jake exclaimed in his mind.

Jake reached for the doornob.

Please God, Jake prayed as he rapped his hands around it.

The blade got even closer.

"GHAAAAAAAAAA!" Jake screamed out in pain as he opened the door and began to crawl through.

The blade was almost out.

Jake screamed out again.

He lurched forward.

He was in the hallway.

The blade was now visible.

Jake zoomed forward one more time and it flew out.

Jake grabbed the fish hooks and ripped them out of his mouth. He laid on his back and tried not to move. He didn't want to accidentley paralyze himself by moving the wrong way. After all he had a hole in his neck. Then he heard it. Jake heard squiking. Not like a mouse. Like a pair of pedals that were moving but hadn't been oiled in a while. He turned his head just a little bit and saw the doll from the T.V. He felt like screaming but the pain kept him from doing so.

"Jake, you are alive. Some people are so ungrateful to be alive. You are no longer one of those people. An ambulance is just outside. You'll make a full recovery within the next two months," it said. The doll then just stood there staring at him.
