Raining.

It was raining on her wedding day. Kagome sat at the window as she held her bouquet of vibrant red roses. They seemed to be the only thing in that room that had any color. Kagome's raven hair was pulled into an elegant bun with a few pieces hanging down. Her lips have been wiped of its glossy red substance and her perfect make-up was ruined.

Her mascara was still running down her cheeks as the bride to be was letting her tears flow silently. Her dress was still spotless and it hugged her torso and stomach, the skirt a very simple white silk which rippled down into a small trail behind her. Her stormy grey eyes held no emotion as she watched the rain hit the glass with small thuds.

Everyone had already left, tired of waiting for the groom and the bride to arrive. He didn't show up, her husband to be left her before she could even walk down the aisle. Kagome at the time felt many things; disappointment, anger, embarrassment and most of all betrayal. She ran back into the house they had rented for the reception and locked herself away in her powder room.

Now, she couldn't feel a thing. Violently, she through her bouquet away from her and screamed, her hands fisted and she brought them to both sides of her face. Her eyes shut tightly and she continued to scream.

She should have been married by now; she should be dancing and enjoying her husband's company. She should be taking countless pictures with their families and friends. She should have had her happily ever after.

Slowly she got on her knees and continues to scream, ignoring the banging on the door and the shouts coming from the other side.

Why didn't he want to marry her? He said he loved her, promised to be with her, promised to marry her. She should have listened to her friends when they said he was bad news. She should have left when she caught him cheating with is co-worker. She should have done so much, but she did nothing.

Kagome stopped screaming as her eyes opened quickly. The door busted open and she was gathered in her brother's arms. She sobbed loudly as Souta held his older sister.

Souta looked down at his sister and felt more rage than he thought he could feel.

He was going to find Shuichi Kurama Minamino and kill him for doing this to his sister.

Kagome deserved better than him anyway.
