PERCY POV

"I think it's time to tell him the truth." Mom said

My heart pounded, this is the first time I would have to tell a mortal the truth. Well except of Rachel Dare, that was a different case; my whole life depended on it. I don't know about you, but I considered this a pretty good reason. What would Paul think? Would he think I am crazy, perhaps send me to the mental hospital? It took me a few minutes to realize my mom's worried expression and my gaping mouth. I quickly closed it, wondering how the Hades am I suppose to tell him. Show some water tricks, get Nico to shadow travel? Or maybe even if I'm lucky, get Thalia to summon a lightning bolt, though I wouldn't want a giant charring gap in the middle of my house. Just then I came up with something that would convince even the most logical grownups. Unfortunately this plan was a lot more dangerous than the other 3 choices. But it was also more convincing than making water spin around in loop-de-loops.

I took a deep breath and answered, "Ok."

I felt extremely stupid right now, since I just took a whole 5 minutes thinking about deep thoughts. I felt like I was 12 again, when Chiron had told me that I was suppose to save the lightning bolt and stop the biggest war from happening, and all I could say was oh. But oh well, at least I'm in my comfort zone. It's not like I have to call Hades my dad now that would be awkward. So the plan was to summon a hurricane to show Paul the truth.

Like Paul was right on cue, he entered the room. My mom called him over to sit down. I started to explain about how Greek gods were all real and I was a demigod. After I finished, Paul looked like a fish out of water with his eyes wide open and jaw open while I was catching my breath after finishing the long "lecture".

He closed his mouth and said, "I don't believe you, like at all!"

I took a deep breath and said exasperatedly, "Fine, you leave no choice but to summon a hurricane."

Paul's eyes grew wider so did my mom's.

My mom started to open her mouth, but then closed it quickly when I waved her concerns away. I took my power and started to make a hurricane around me.

Once I finished, the coffee table was upturned and half of the living room was in ruins, like Kronos had just dropped by for a visit. Paul's eyes looked like they were going to pop out of their sockets. My mom just shook her head.

"Okay! I believe you!" Paul screamed

I chuckled, I went to my room to grab some drachmas to Iris-message Nico. I told him to get some undead warriors and if he did I'll get him some blue birthday cake. I forgot for a minute that Paul was there.

"Oh, shoot", I thought

I turned around, crossing my fingers, hoping that Paul didn't hear me. But sadly he did, and he fainted. Well that's a everyday thing…
