SO, I guess you can consider this a … Rant. Lately I've been reading Ouran fanfics, and have been seeing a lot of… Erm, things I liked to clear up. Now, let's get started- and please- if you see this story and click on it, read it. Even if it's long, because some of these things may apply to you– No flame intended-. now let's start our very first lesson!

Spelling and Grammar

-Sigh- Okay, listen. Everybody has spelling and grammar error, even famous authors. See the difference is there are people who correct them, and people who don't. Personally, I always re-read my work (Even spell/grammar-check messes up sometimes) but it's fine if you use spell check and everything turns out fine, or maybe you're really good at grammar and spelling! But when I read something along the lines of;

" kyouya swept haruhi up from da flooor and cought her in a worm embra ce!"

Or maybe in a summary I find;

" the new gurl komes to skool aan fines out that da twinss r hur broders! what wull happpen? Beter than da summmmary actuly sounds."

Now I know these are a little dramatic, and you would probably never see them… But for example purposes lets talk about these two examples. The first one I did a common mistake I always see… Kyouya. Even when I first entered this Fan-dom I got this one wrong, but when you're searching for a story or pretty much anywhere else on this Fan-dom it clearly states his name as Kyoya! Another thing….. Please –PLEASE- capitalize names and the beginning of sentences! Come on people we learned that in like what? 3rd grade? I know spell check usually doesn't capitalize names like 'Kyoya' or 'Haruhi' but you literally press one extra button!

Secondly, no internet chat please! Just because when you're chatting with friends you say 'da' doesn't mean it substitutes the word 'the' everywhere else and neither does 'r' for the word "are"! Thirdly, I know when I'm typing fast I'll sometimes put a space or an extra letter where it shouldn't be, but really? You didn't notice the three O's in 'floor' or the five M's in 'Summary'? Lastly, when I look for stories and see a summary so messed up like the one above, I don't click on it. Even if you say the summary is worse then the actual story, I don't care. When you can't spell 'actually' I know I'm going to be disappointed in your story and you will have wasted my time. SO why get less reviews? Your story could be extremely amazing and breathtaking, but if I see spelling/grammar issues... I'm not gonna review or read... and I'm sure a lot of people won't either. In review, use spell/grammar check, proof-read it yourself, or go have someone else read it! :D

P.S. If you read those two sentences and saw nothing at all wrong with them... go buy some glasses, or take an extra English class. –PLEASE!-

Short lesson. If I didn't have my stupid Social Studies project it be longer but, Don't worry kiddies because our next lesson is gonna be about the wonderful Mary Sues! Yay! Oh, and if you get to this point and feel like you have the need to flame me... go right ahead. Because all they do is give me a good laugh, maybe I'll even use them in my rant about reviewing!
