Chapter: Missing You
It has been a week since Lisa Cuddy had left his life. He felt so alone and lost. He sits on the floor of his apartment with vodka, and his favorite pills right by his side. The only thing he can do is drink his pain away. He holds on the picture of him and her. They were so happy in that picture. Now she was gone and there was nothing for him to do.
House is to busying drinking his sorrows away that he doesn't hear the doorbell; which he probably wouldn't even answer the door because he doesn't want to see anybody right now.
"House open up I know you are home."
House takes another drink and throws the empty bottle across the room.
Wilson opens the door and sees House on the ground. His head buried in knees.
"House is you okay?"
"GO AWAY!" He yells.
Wilson moves closer to House and sits down next to him.
"I'm not leaving you!" He puts his hand on House's shoulder. "I'm here for you!"
House knew that Wilson would be there for him but he just wants Cuddy. She was the reason why he even got out of bed or even went to work and now she was gone. He had nothing to look forward to at work.
Wilson looks at the picture of them. He smiles as he remembers the day he took the picture. They were so happy. Who would know a week later she was gone and not coming back to them.
House stands up and reaches for his cane. He limps towards the door.
"House where are you going?" Wilson follows after him.
"I - I need to get some scotch. It will be so much better then vodka." He shuts the door in the Wilson face.
Wilson opens the door and tells him that he will drive because House is definitely in no condition to drive. He was amaze that House didn't even object to him.
They drive to the store in silent neither saying a word. Wilson so badly wanted to tell House that he is worried about him and that he really needs to get some help.
House looks out the window wondering if he ever is going to be happy. He knew he never was happy. Him happy with Cuddy and it scared him. He was willing to be happy and now she was gone and never coming back and it was his fault.
"I should have tried harder and to save her!" House says while he looks out the window. "It's my fault she's dead."
