"Tell me again why you're setting me up with a partner, Paul." Solomon Saturday asked his old college friend as they walked through the halls of the secret scientist world H.Q (head quarters).

"Because," Paul started, "she wanted to learn about cryptids and who else but you to get the newbie."

Solomon rolled his eyes. He wasn't much of a partner person, plus he didn't even know this person's name.

"Well, I don't know anything about this person, so what can you tell me?"

"Well, her name is Drew, she's from Tibet, she has a kick butt fire sword, oh and she used to work with Van Rook.'' Paul adds cautiously. He knew that little tidbit of info would make Solomon's blood boil.

"Van Rook?!" Solomon shouted. Now he was even more annoyed.

"Don't pop a vain; she's on our side now." Paul said. They kept walking until they reached the door that led to vehicle storage.

"You're going to love her! She's just as stubborn as you.' said Paul as he opened the door. There were two rows of cars, jeeps, and motor bikes on either side of the vehicle bay. Drew was standing by a black jeep with a dazed look on her face. When Solomon and Paul approached her she snapped back to focus.

"Hi Paul." She grates.

"Hay. Drew this is your new partner Doctor Solomon Saturday. "said Paul. He gestures for Drew to look at Solomon. As she looks at him, she realizes that he was about her age, gives or takes a year, and was tall. And here she thought that she'd get paired up with some skinny little nerd. This was a pleasant surprise on her part.

"What's up Doc?"Drew said.

'Doc' wasn't paying much attention; he was too captivated by Drew's white hair. He found it kind of hot.

"Oh! Hi."Doc finally said.

"Before I forget," Paul said, pulling out a piece of paper from his pocket, "Some orders from the boss-man." He hands the paper to Doc."The GPScoordinates should all ready be entered in your jeep's nav-system.''

Doc reads the paper over. Drew and him were supposed to investigate some big-foot attacks in some forest west of the H.Q. Paul got keys out of his pocket and tossed them to Drew, much to Doc's annoyance. He wanted to drive,

"Why did you give her the keys?" asked Doc.

"I gave you the paper. Well you kids have fun .I got go. I've got a date with Miranda." Paul said before running back the way he and Doc had come.

Doc throws his stuff in the back and nervously gets in the passenger seat.

"Why don't you let me drive?" Doc says. He still didn't fully trust Drew.

"Don't worry partner, all I have to do is follow the GPS." Drew stated nonchalantly as she started the car.

"Don't call me partner."

"What ever you say…partner."

"Just call me Doc. One more thing. Don't crash."

"Well since I never had a driver's license, I can't make any promises." Drew says. Before Doc could protest, the jeep jerked forward, and they were off. Since they were driving off road, the ride wasn't as life threatening, but still just as never racking for Doc. The whole ride they didn't say anything, Doc was too scared to speak and drew was focused on following the directions. Thirty minutes into the drive while Drew looked down at the screen to check their position, Doc noticed they were heading right for a tree!

"TREE!" Doc shouted.

"What!?" Drew shouts back. Looking up she sees the then grabs the wheel and jerks it to the left, sending them careening into a deep mud pit. In a surprisingly calm manner she leans back in her seat and crosses her arms.

She then says the words that throw doc over the edge," Now look what you did."

Hope fully it didn't skip any words like it normally dose.
