Just something I thougt of :) Mello's gonna be a bit OOC
By the way, I have nothing against Wuthering Heights.
Disclaimer: I own nothing
It was an ordinary night at Wammy's Home For Extraordinary Children. Some kids were asleep, most weren't.
Matt was playing video games as usual, but Mello was doing something that no one would expect him to do.
After Matt finished the Halo 3 campaign for the seventeenth time he decided to go look for his best friend, who was nowhere in sight. He looked in all the usual places Mello would be- in his room, in the attic plotting some sort of prank, or raiding the kitchen for chocolate. He didn't find him anywhere, so Matt just gave up and went to see if there was a movie on in the TV room.
Matt looked in to see a movie playing, but he didn't see anyone there. The movie that was playing was 'Wuthering Heights'.
"Oh," Matt thought, "No wonder there's no one here, who would want to watch that story?" He was about to leave when he heard something. Sniffling? He went further into the room and saw a blond head of hair. Matt was completely shocked at what he saw when he went around the couch to see who was there.
Mello was there, crying.
The proud Mihael Keehl was watching 'Wuthering Heights', and he was crying.
After a few seconds of shock, Matt burst out laughing uncontrollably. Mello looked up with puffy, red eyes and anger flashed across his face.
"What the hell are you laughing at?! It's sad!" Mello screamed at his best friend.
"You're crying because of that movie! I never thought you could even cry! That's hilarious!!" Matt said between bursts of laughter.
"No! It's not! Have you ever seen it?!" Mello said.
"No, I haven't. that's the point, Mel."
"……..Are you gonna tell anyone?" Mello asked sheepishly.
"I guess not, if you do one thing for me."
"What? I'll do anything within the law. And some things that aren't."
"Hmm, I have been wanting that gold-plated PS3. You know, that one that was on the news?"
"You've gotta be joking! That thing's worth more than a small car!"
"It's okay if you don't want to get it, but guess what everybody'll be talking about tomorrow."
Mello sighed, "Okay, FINE. I'll ask Wammy if I can get a loan tomorrow."
"Wow, thanks Mel, you're the best!" Matt concluded and walked away.
Mello sat down and started crying again, but for a different reason.
