It was a bright and sunny day. The birds where chirping and the sounds of children's laughter filled the air as Emma and Jenny took their three year old green eyed, light brown haired little girl for a walk through the markets in search of a new pet. Melody had been so excited to go get a new pet she woke her parents up at five am in the morning to ask them about names for her pet and what she could get.
As they were walking around the market, Melody kept on running off to look at all the stores, laughing as her parent's tried to kept up with their little energiser bunny. Melody bounced off again, this time to a stall lined up with cages and tanks. She stopped in front of the stall and patiently waited for her mummy's to hurry up.
As Jenny and Emma met up with their Daughter, they found her starring into the cage of a very white snow coloured Rabbit.
"Momma, Mummy, can I have the bunny please, I promise to feed him everyday" Melody asked looking up at her parents, giving them soft puppy dog eyes while slightly pouting, knowing that she can get her own way with the look.
"Now, Melody, what have we told you about running off" Jenny asked her daughter, ignoring her soft innocent 'can I have it, mummy' look.
"You said that if I run off, I may get lost and that it's naughty. I just wanted to find a pet Mummy" Melody replied looking at the ground, her bottom lip trembling.
"Melody, how about you hold onto both of our hands, and we can go look at other stalls before choosing a pet" Jenny asked bending down to be eye level with Melody.
"No, I want this bunny" Melody said crossing her arms looking up at Jenny defiantly.
"Mel, let's go have a look at other bunnies, you may find a better one"
"Momma, can I get the bunny" Melody asked turning to Emma, wrapping her small arms around her legs, ignoring Jenny.
Emma looked at Jenny, a look of defeat on her face as she looked down at their daughter, who looked like a mini version of Jenny, but with her eyes. Jenny knew by that look, Emma was going to give in and get Melody the bunny.
"Ok baby, we can get you the bunny rabbit only if Mummy says so" Emma said, smoothing down Melody's hair.
"Mummy, I love you this much" Melody said sweetly, extending her arms out as wide as they will go. "Can I pretty please get the bunny".
"Ok, sweetie" Jenny finally agreed, smiling.

As Melody was sitting in the middle of the lounge room floor petting her bunny rabbit, she ran some names by her parent's.
"Mummy's what should I name him"
"I don't know sweetie, what names do you like" Emma asked as she cuddled with Jenny on the lounge, watching how happy their little girl was.
"I like Snowy, Whitey, Bunny, Cookie, Cloud, Cuddles, Charlie, Rolley, hop hop and yeah" Melody replied enthusiastically.
"I like Snowy, he's very white." Jenny said, making Melody smile.
"I know, I know, I'm gonna name him Spoony." Melody said jumping up and running into the kitchen. She came back out with her favourite white spoon and showed it to her parents. "Look, my spoon, it has a bunny on it. I'm gonna show Spoony how he got his name".
As Melody ran off into the next room with the rabbit cage, Jenny cuddled closer into Emma's side, leaning up and giving her a kiss on the lips, before going to see what Melody was doing to the poor bunny rabbit.
