And I Dreamed Disclaimer: All (implied) characters and settings belong solely to J. K. Rowling. I hope she doesn't mind me borrowing them. Summary: Basically just a poem about suicide, so proceed no further if that's something that'll offend you.
By Midnight Auror
At that precious throat was knife, Blood glistened on that hated blade. Dying gasps in the night and no one to care
How it glistened in the moonlight.
Crying bitter tears of a horrible life;
Retched screaming in the nigh.
Out of breath, no more pain, fading fast,
No savior for this one, no one to aide,
But no longer a victim of a treacherous past.
The hard truth knocked me off my feet,
Loved by all, but not understood anywhere,
And I dreamed a dream so sweet. . .
A.N.: This was written a couple months ago, and it all stemmed from when this rhyme came into me head : And I dreamed a dream so sweet, that it knocked me off my feet.' I'm not sure where the rhyme came from, but it changed and evolved into this. The first person who can correctly guess who the character that the poem is about, then I'll write either a poem or short story for them. (Their choice of ship/genre/plot/etc.)
