"The Land of the Nords"

Fedave opened his eyes to see, well almost nothing it was quite a misty day.

"Hey you finally woke up." a Breton on the same carriage said.

"Yeah, I guess I did...where are we?" Fedave replied.

"We're just over the border." the Breton replied while holding out his hand for Fedave to shake. "My name's Altx."

"Mine's Fedave." he said as he accepted the Breton's hand.

Fedave was a dark elf with a fair muscle build and a brown colored war-hawk hair style. Next to him he had a small chest filled to the brim with coin purses, four steel swords, an enchanted ring that made him stronger, a sack with a month's worth of fruits and meat, and a banded iron armor chest-plate He was wearing fine clothes and was holding an iron helmet to his side.

Altx however looked quite different. He had no sacks or chests with him. He was just wearing adept robes, a circlet and two rings. He was arguably skinny, but looked like he could handle himself in battle due to the scars running up and down his wrists. His hair was dirty-blonde and stayed right over top of his head.

"Where are you headed?" Fedave asked.

"Winterhold" he replied "I'm going to study magic at the college there." Altx answered.

"Interesting, I'm heading to that area too. I'm going to visit Azura's shrine." "Maybe we could head there together." Fedave suggested.

The carriage stopped next to two others.

"I guess this is our stop." Altx interjected among the bustling of people.

"Yeah." Fedave said grunting, trying to get up.

Finally, the pair managed to get off the carriage and onto another one heading to Whiterun. Fedave suddenly felt a migraine and collapsed. Fedave saw fire, so much fire. There was screaming and crumbling stone, the smell of burning flesh, and a deafening noise, yol toor shul. Andthen it was over. Fedave was gasping for breath on his knees, nothing had changed. He got back up and caught up to Altx. Fedave was going to ask Altx about what just happened to him. That's when all Oblivion broke loose. Two reinforced carriages came barreling around the bend of the trail with steeds kicking up sparks and panting so loudly that you could hear it over the screams of the travelers. The men in the carriages wore light armor which was chain-linked at the openings.

They all shouted "Ulfric!" and began to attack the immigrants.

Altx hit several of them with ice spikes but was quickly over powered. In turn Fedave managed to open his chest and got two of his steel swords out. The first warrior he saw he beheaded then stabbed another in the chest and left the sword there. Blood got all over Fedave's armor, permeating it. The carnage came to a pause when a volley of arrows soared into the air and came down upon the remaining survivors.
