A/N: Fairy Tail does not belong to me in any way, shape, or form. Thank you.

"Gray-sama~!" Gray stiffened, hunching his shoulders as Juvia threw herself towards him. "Juvia is back now!" The past three days had been peaceful. It had to end sometime, didn't it?

"O-oi, I already get it so—" she was holding onto him and he wondered briefly when that had happened. "Juvia, let go." She was smiling, her eyes closed as she continued to hold onto him. "Oi, Juvia…"

"Mmm, you two look cute~" Mira cooed as she passed, carrying a large tray of drinks. Juvia beamed and Gray quickly pushed her away, rising. "Your clothes." He looked down, shock flitting across his features as he was left only in his boxers.

"W-when did that happen?!"

"Ohh~ Gray-sama~!" Hearts were in her eyes and he twitched.

"Juvia, how many times are we gonna go through this? Look, you're nice and all, but I really—"

"OF-COURSE JUVIA ACCEPTS, GRAY-SAMA~! JUVIA HAS DREAMED OF BEING YOUR WIFE FOR SO LONG~!"

"OI, I AIN'T PROPOSING!" he held her at arm's length while she tried to tackle him once more. He couldn't understand this woman who was so madly in-love with him. He wasn't leading her on, was he? No, he was pretty sure he wasn't, so why? She should just go after Lyon, at-least the idiot was in-love with her too. "Jeez."

"Is… Is Gray-sama upset with Juvia?" Tears welled in her eyes and he swallowed his groan. Mavis knew if he didn't, the entire Guild would be on him about making her cry again.

"Juvia, come on, why can't we just be friends, you know? Like me and Lucy?" Her eyes immediately narrowed and from the tense look he received from the blonde, that was the wrong thing to say. The blue haired woman eased away and he dropped his hands from her shoulders, watching her intently.

"Love rival…" Lucy immediately raised her arms in a defensive position.

"N-now see here, Juvia! Let's not go through this again!"

"Juvia will not be swayed! Love rival will drown!" Lucy ran shrieking from the Guild and the others laughed as Juvia stalked their Celestial Mage out of the building. Gray let out a breath, sinking back into his chair.

Seriously. Why?

Why him? Why them? Of all the missions, why did Erza accept Juvia on this one?

She was clinging to his arm, her smile so bright. He stopped trying long ago to make her let go. Lucy stayed away, not even looking at him while they walked—she feared Juvia's wrath too much. Natsu strode next to her, hands behind his head as he whistled. At-least he was happy, thank Mavis for that. No vehicles this time around, the place was too far out. Happy flew above them, swaying and diving as he acted as scout.

"When're we gonna get there?" Erza perked, pulling out the map and studying it as they walked. Natsu glanced over at her and Lucy watched on curiously.

"Well…" the S-Class wizard murmured, tracing a line with an armored finger. "Another few hours." Their Dragon Slayer stretched his arms out.

"Good! I'm starving!"

"Aye!"

"Is that all you two think about? Food?" Lucy questioned, but she already knew the answer by now.

"Of-course!"

"Stupid Lucy! What else is there to think about?" Happy questioned from above them. The blonde's eye twitched and she brandished a fist at him.

"Come down here, Cat, and I'll give you something else to think about!" The blue feline stuck out a tongue, soaring on ahead. "Stupid Cat…" Natsu grinned.

"We think about jobs, Luce!"

"Yes, but why? Because jobs get you food." He didn't argue with that logic.

"Enemy sighted~!" Happy called from above. They all immediately stiffened, proceeding with caution as they moved closer to the hill. Happy circled, waving to the enemy. Erza growled at him to stop, but the cat flew beyond their sight. Natsu sprang up, rushing over the hill in an effort to protect his partner.

"Nat—" Erza just missed his scarf and then they were all rising over the hill, following the pinkette. Happy was some distance away, diving and swooping around a blue haired woman they thought looked awfully familiar. Natsu took off full speed towards her and Lucy opened her mouth to scream at him, but Erza rested a hand on her shoulder, smiling. "It's alright. She's a friend." Lucy followed after the red head and chanced a look over at Gray; he too was smiling, something Juvia apparently didn't care for, if the murderous look she was sending the woman anything to go by.

"—been so long!" And Natsu hugged the woman, Happy swooping down to cuddle against her chest. The woman laughed, the sound light and clear like a bell. Juvia's anger skyrocketed.

"Is that Erza? Erza, hi!" the woman waved and Erza raised up her own arm, the four of them drawing ever closer. "And Gray! Look at you!" she squealed and Natsu let go. The woman lunged for the Ice Make Mage and when he hugged her back, Lucy inched away from Juvia's anger.

"G-gray-sama… how could you do such a thing to Juvia?!" she wailed. Gray blew out a breath and the woman blinked at the bluenette. Juvia glowered at her. "How could you cheat on Juvia?!"

"'Gray-sama'?" She cast the dark haired mage a sly smile. "Oho? I leave you alone for a couple years and you go and find yourself a girl? When were you gonna tell me, hmm?" she pulled at his cheek before moving close to Juvia, enveloping her in a hug. "It's nice to meet you then, Juvia."

Juvia blinked rapidly, trying to take this all in. S-she and Gray-sama?! Together?! Her face went beet red at the thought! If this woman thought so, it must be true! If others could see it, it must be true!

"A-ah, b-but Juvia… Juvia and Gray-sama…"

"Hey, Ava, don't go giving her any ideas, okay? I'm trying to not encourage her!" The woman, Ava, pulled away, eyeing Juvia up and down.

"Mm. I approve. Treat her right, Gray, or I'll wanna know why." Gray blanched and Juvia clasped her hands to her chest, hearts in her eyes at her new best friend. "Or haven't you confessed yet?"

"L-look, Ara—"

"Ha! Popsicle breath couldn't confess his feelings, even if it killed him!" Natsu snorted. Lucy feigned innocence of the matter, not wanting Juvia attacking her again and still trying to figure out who Ava was. Erza rested a hand on Gray's shoulder. He tensed, turning to look over at her slowly.

"Go on then."

"O-Oi! You all! We aren't like that!" Gray shot Natsu a dark look. "And what do you know about feelings, ash for brains?! I don't see you confessing to Lucy over there!" They butted heads and Lucy blinked a couple times.

Ava watched the familiar scene with a smile on her face. "Mm, just like old times…" she rested a hand on Juvia's shoulder and the younger woman looked up at her in awe. "He'll come around."

"I won't!" She shot him a look to rival Erza's and the two immediately stopped fighting, inching back towards Lucy and in effort to hide behind her. "J-juvia, tell her we aren't like that!" he was pleading, obviously terrified of her new friend.

The Rain Woman smiled at her. "Juvia and Gray-sama are destined to be together~!" Ava beamed, clapping her hands.

"Juvia!"

"How wonderful! Maa, now I'll have to stop by more to see you all~! You're all out here for a job, aren't you? I better get going then, I don't wanna hold you up!" she waved and Happy flew at her once more, crying and wishing her well before going to Natsu for comfort. "Now now, I'll be around! Count on it! It's nice to meet you Juvia! Welcome to the family~!" The older blue haired woman waved, turning and going on her merry way.

Juvia was trembling as she turned to face Gray. "F-family?"

He looked away, rubbing at the back of his neck. "That woman… Tch, ruins everything…"

Erza stepped forward then, finally speaking. "Gray and Ava are cousins, the only family they have left. This, I can only assume, means that Ava accepts you into the Fullbuster family. Presumably as Gra—"

"No! No, we aren't going there! Ain't gonna happen!" Gray quickly interrupted while Juvia threw her arms around him.

Atop the hill, Ava looked down, smiling fondly at the group, hearing their laughter floating towards her on the breeze.

~*~*~*~*~ 2 Years Later ~*~*~*~*~

Gray huffed out a breath, scowling. "I can't believe you guys…" he narrowed his eyes on his friends. They grinned.

"It's not everyday someone gets married, after-all, Gray," Lucy hummed. He scoffed, turning away from them. "So we had the entire Guild help~!" He stared at her deceptively sweet smile.

Evil, thy name is Lucy Heartfilia.

"It'll be fun, Gray," Erza smiled at him and he winced. This was more or less her warning: get happy or face her wrath.

"Fine…" he offered a smile, rubbing at his neck. "Thanks."

"No prob, Snowman!" Gray let it go, after all, Lucy had it covered. She pulled hard on his ear, hissing out a warning.

"So how's my baby cousin doin'? You alright? Nervous? Panicking? I don't think she'll leave you at the altar, but I really hope you've been nice to her lately~!" Arms wrapped around him and he scowled at her.

"That just fills me with confidence, Ava, thank you." She grinned at him. "Oi, aren't we gonna be late or something?" he ground out, wanting to get away from these lunatics.

"Mmm, guess so. Luce, aren't you Maid of Honor, so, shouldn't you be helping her?" The blonde promptly turning, rushing away to accomplish said task. "Make her pretty!"

"I will!" she waved and Natsu was half tempted to follow after her. Erza ruined that plan by grabbing him by the scarf.

"Come along, Natsu. We still have to finish setting up," and she dragged him away, leaving the Fullbusters alone.

Ava smiled softly at him, patting down his suit and adjusting his tie. "You look very handsome."

"Shaddup." She pouted a little, brushing down his hair. "Hey, Ava…"

"Hm?"

"You think…" he trailed off and she promptly hugged him. "Oi, oi! Off!"

"You'll be fine~!" And she pulled him into the cathedral.

"—now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Juvia threw her arms around him, kissing him passionately. He faltered before wrapping his arms around her. The Fairy Tail Guild, nestled within the old church, whooped and cheered as they kissed, sealing the binds that would unite them together. "It is my honor to present, Gray and Juvia Fullbuster!" In the front row, Makarov and Ava were holding onto each other, wailing. With them, Lucy attempted to calm them down while trying to keep Natsu from doing something immature, like calling out to the Ice Make Wizard and picking a fight. Erza was allowing the tears to flow freely as she watched the couple. Mira sat with her, cheering about her matchmaking skills.

"Gray-sama! Juvia is so happy!" she was crying. This was her dream come true! She finally had her Prince!

"Hey, thought I told you to stop calling me that?" he rested his forehead against hers, smiling lightly.

"Y-you're right! Juvia loves Gray!" she held onto him tightly as they made their way down the aisle.

All in all, it was a good day for Fairy Tail.

Ha. I couldn't help myself~

In regards to the summary, that's what's going through Juvia's head in the mere seconds before Ava says she approves of the two of them.
