"You see... J-Juvia loves... y-you." I stammered. Gray stared blankly at me. "So, you want me to go out with you?" He frowned. I nodded weakly. His gaze flickered across the room towards a certain Celestial Spirit mage. After pausing, he shook his head. "Sorry. I just don't like you. I mean, as a friend I do, but not like that." I felt tears well up in my eyes. "Okay. Juvia understands." Although I didn't. I couldn't understand why he likes Lucy-san more than me. I hung my head and ran away. I was better than her. I was more beautiful. She was self centered and full of herself. I didn't reliese how far I had run. I had made it all the way to the park. I sighed sadly and sat down on a bench. Just then I noticed a couple kissing at the other side of the park. I closed my eyes and imagined Gray and me in their place. I started to cry, reliesing that that would never be able to happen. I opened my eyes when someone sat down next to me. I looked to my right and saw Lyon sitting next to me. "What's wrong Juvia?" He asked gently. "What are you doing here? Lamia Scale is really far away." He explained that he had just finished a mission in these parts and he decided to relax for a while. "Then I saw you on the bench, so I came over. Now what's wrong?" I sighed. " Juvia confessed to Gray-sama and- and h-he said..." I started to cry again. I felt Lyon hesitently put his arm around my shoulders. "You going home soon?" He asked gently. I shrugged. "Juvia doesn't want to go back to the dorms only to be asked a lot of questions." There was a short silence before he said, "You could stay at my place for a while." I looked up at him. "Really?" He nodded. "Let's go soon. The train leaves in an hour." I smiled half-heartedly. "Okay." He stood and helped me up. "Then let's go." We ran quickly to the train station just before it left. We hopped on and took an empty compartment. I sat next to Lyon and immedeatly felt sleepy. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on his shoulder. I soon fell asleep to the rocking of the train.
