Abby sat in the chair next to Gibbs' hospital bed. No body had been able to mover her from his rooms. Watching as he began to stir, she sat on the edge of the chair, her hand holding his tight. She blinked hard, trying to stop the tears from falling, but it didn't help; they splashed on their joined hands. It had been three months and Gibbs was yet to wake. Everyday that went by, Abby lost a little glimmer of hope, but her love for the man grew.

"Abs," it was a chocked whisper.

"Gibbs." Her head snapped up and more tears fell down her cheeks.

"Hey Abs, don't cry."

"I'm not crying, I never cry."

Gibbs smiled and tried raising a hand to her cheek, but he was too weak.

"Rest Gibbs."

"How long, have I been, out?"

"Three months." Abby wiped her eyes. "I've missed you Gibbs."

"I missed you too."

Abby leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his forehead.

"What was that for?"

"For coming back to me."

They both smiled and Abby laughed. A pregnant silence settled over them and Abby looked down.

"What's wrong Abs?"

"I ... I think I love you Gibbs."

Gibbs smiled and pulled Abby down, their lips met in a light but passionate kiss.

"Correction, I know I love you."

They were both panting when they pulled apart and Gibbs closed his eyes.

"I should hope so; I love you too."

They rested their foreheads together and simply smiled, happy they had found each other.
