Concerning Gods and Mortals

Chapter One- Ashera's Grandiloquence

--------

There comes a time in every goddess' life when she just... gets a bit angry. It's completely understandable, right? After all, when somebody wakes you up two-hundred and twenty years before they were supposed to and you're told that your subjects have been warring, well... it's not all that hard to get angry with them.

I had to turn them into stone; they broke my rules, after all!

But apparently there's a group of people who weren't turned to stone and are now marching towards my tower. My tower. To try and tell me that what I did was wrong.

Okay, so I was supposed to speak to Yune before turning everyone into stone... if she can convince me that it's worth letting the beorc and laguz try and solve their problems, I'll turn them all back to normal.

But if they've been fighting for over five-hundred years, it's doubtful.

There are times I wish I was mortal.

Oh well.

Let's see how this little army fares...

(End chapter one.

So, Ashera loses her patience and tries to rationalize. We all marvel at her human-sounding speech.

Please review-- I'll see you all next chapter!)
