Running Love
The beat of the rain pounded against me, almost trying to get me to stop, the last one. No one was out at three am, in the morning. The street was empty as I ran down it. My silver hair hanging in my eyes, and sticking to my skin. I had long ago forgot about it, I could careless anyways, it remind me what I was running for. Yes, I was running away. Why? Simply, pain. I couldn't deal with my life anymore so I ran. I left a note for my best friend, and parents on my bed, packed a bag, and ran. No one even knew I was planning this, so I knew I'd make it home free. I knew if I made it to a motel by dawn I'd be home free. My feet beated, along with my heart, like a drum. The memories floated through my head, the lockers, the words, their laughs, it pushed me on.
Then I saw it, the motel sign flashing in the background. As I got close I noticed him. There he stood, under a umbrella, waiting for me. Like always he would caught me before I got to home base, and bring me back to the start to re-try.
As I got close to him, he poked me in the arm. "Tag your it, Riku."
"Yay, yay, Sora."
I knew this was how it was always going to be. Me running, him following me, everywhere I went. For he was my best friend, and secret lover, and I was the trapped dove.
