A view of Mossflouer country and beyond
To the west I see a mountain, forever burning bright,
Where vermin come and vermin go, yet never win the fight.
Badgers hares or magic? No one ever knows,
And yet warriors will always go there and so the legend grows.
And to the south a glance I give,
And see that squirrels rule and live.
Good creatures live there, one and all,
But look, up north! I see Redwall!
Rearing up ever so high,
Framed against a clear, blue sky.
A magic place is what I see.
Good friends always there for me.
A mountain, a castle, an abbey
Each plays a different part,
And each will always have a special place,
Deep within my heart.
