AN: This is my first fic. It's a short story. This idea came to me when I saw Rachel following Puck after the funeral at his car. This is set after the funeral of Sue's sister. It's kinda late, I know but this is the first time I that I tried writing a fic. It's AU after that.

With one last look at Finn's truck, Rachel sighed. While at the funeral, she realized something. She realized that life is short. That death comes unexpectedly. She decided then that she will stop chasing after Finn. Life is too short for that. She decided to focus in her dreams.

"Berry, hurry up!" she heard. She looked at Noah, his face looking out of the rolled down window of his mother's car. She continued walking towards the car.

As she opened the passenger's door, she noticed Sam at the backseat. "Hey." she greeted. Sam nodded in response.

"Took you long enough." Puck replied. He started the car and said gruffly, "I hope you're happy now that Finn and Quinn broke up."

She didn't see it coming. She felt really weird right now. She should be happy, right? But no, it's like the news didn't affect her at all. She thinks she's completely over Finn. What she doesn't understand is the tone in Noah's voice. Is he angry?

By the time she stopped thinking, she realized that they are near Sam's motel. Puck pulled over and Sam said, "Thanks for the ride." nodding at Puck. "See you guys later." he said to them.

An uncomfortable silence passed inside the car. Rachel really wants to know why Puck seems angry when he said that Finn and Quinn broke up. Maybe he wasn't over Quinn? No, it can't be. He should be happy by now. She crossed that theory in her mind.

By the time Puck pulled into her driveway, she made her decision. "Why are you angry?" she asked.

He was taken aback by the question. "What?" he looked at her.

"I said, why are you angry?" she repeated. "Is it because of Finn?"

He decided to tell her the truth. "Yeah, it's because of Finn. Honestly, it's about you going back to Finn now that he and Quinn broke up. Don't you realize that you deserved better that him? He always hurts you, Rachel!"

She was caught off guard by what he said and because he called her Rachel. He never calls her Rachel except when he's serious. "I'm not going back to him." she said softly.

"Yeah, not. But you will." he replied.

"No. I will never go back to him. I realized all that he did to me while we were at the funeral." she said. "I'm completely over him."

He looked at her, his expression softened. "Seriously?" he asked, with a bit of hope in his voice.

She smiled. "Yes. Seriously."

He raised one of his eyebrows. "I never thought a day would come where Rachel Berry isn't pining over Finn." he smirked.

"Well, the day had come, Noah Puckerman." she said. "Actually, I'm starting to realize the nice things this specific boy had done to me." she winked at him. "Now that my feelings for Finn are gone, I'm realizing that I might have feelings for this certain boy, too."

"Is that boy a badass?" he asked.

"A self-proclaimed badass, actually." she replied.

He leaned in closer to her. "Is that boy sitting in this car right now?"

"I think so." she replied. "I li- "she was cut off by Noah crushing his lips against hers. She kissed him back. With passion, putting all her ignored feelings into the kiss. Then he pulled back and said, "I like you too, Berry. I just realized it too." She smiled and kissed him again.
