Girl Power
SUMMARY: Link, Mario and Captain Falcon have been getting on Zelda, Peach and Samus's nerves. So, it's time for the girls to teach them a lesson!
--
Zelda rolled her eyes and heaved an umpteenth sigh. Link had been singing, headbanging and air guitaring to Once In A Lifetime by DragonForce. She had to resort to sitting on the sofa, looking annoyed and bored. The song lasted longer than she planned, and she would have rather listened to the history of the soup or whatever Mario was interested in that particular week.
"LINK! TURN IT DOWN!!" a voice screamed from upstairs.
"You don't know good music when you hear it, Marth!" Link yelled back, continuing to jump around the living room.
"THAT'S NOT MUSIC, IT'S JUST BLOODY NOISE!!"
The pair continued to argue for a good few minutes, resulting in Mario standing at the kitchen doorway, eating pizza and looking amused. Pikachu arrived too, looking at the ceiling in a playful curiosity. The argument soon ended and Link began dancing again, much to Zelda's annoyance.
"What-a the hell are you-a doin'?" Mario asked, his mouth full of pizza.
Zelda had had enough.
She grabbed Link by the collar and dragged him upstairs, only for Mario to take control of the CD player, and shove on Sweet Home Alabama by Peach's least favourite band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and she unfortunately happened to walk into the room at that time.
"Mario..." she rolled her eyes. Mario had instantly flumped down on his chair, nodding his head to the tune while Pikachu sang along. Peach shook her head in disbelief and followed Zelda's lead, dragging Mario upstairs.
--
The tortured screams of Link, Mario and eventually Captain Falcon - after annoyed Samus by stealing the last slice of cake - were audible all over the house. Pikachu and Roy were watching, amused grins on their faces.
"This is entertainment!" Roy chuckled.
--
"TURN IT OFF! PLEASEEE!!" Captain Falcon screamed. Link, Mario and Falcon were tied up and being forced to watch Mean Girls over and over again. Zelda, Peach and Samus giggled and high-fived each other.
The girls had triumphed once again!
