Somewhere Only We Know - Keane.
Brooke wandered her way into an empty meadow. She walked through it as if she knew it. The wind blew her long brown hair off her shoulders and her short white dress up. She could feel the soft, long grass beneath her bare feet. Her charm bracelet jingled as that was the only sound she could hear. She roamed some more around the deserted place, until she came across a river. The river acted like a border between different worlds, one side was a beautiful, sunny meadow and the other was a dim, mysterious forest. She sat near the small long river that leads down to a big beautiful waterfall. Oddly, her thoughts thought about Blake. Her best friend, the boy she loved for 12 years.
Without any control, she got up and jumped on the small rocks in the river to get to the other side. Water splashed her legs and she slipped catching herself in the last second. She strolled into the forest and a large broken tree blocked her path. Brooke stood there for a while, because the tree looked so familiar, she scanned the tree and then it hit her. She recognized it as the one she and Blake used to climb long ago, as it had a carving of their names. This was their secret place. This was the place she had dreamt of in her sleep. The place she missed.
Memories flooded her mind as tears started to stream down her face. She missed him so much. "Blake!" She cried, "Why did you leave me? You promised me, you promised me we would get married. You promised me we would grow old together." The wind picked up and the autumn leaves brushed against her bare skin. "I loved you." She whispered. Brooke fell on her knees and cried for Blake was gone forever.
