I got really bored.

Wonderwall

When he fell, Kyle didn't expect a loud smack. He expected to sit upright in bed panting, but this - this wasn't normal. Kyle didn't think he really had done it.

But there - there lied an Eric Cartman he had never seen before; a dead Eric Cartman. Sure, they'd had a close call once or twice, but he'd never expected him to actually die. He was his friend - friends don't wish death upon friends.

The ambulance wheeling him away gave him a check of reality. There he was - the same ol' fat bastard he always was. Blood was oozing out of his white tee shirt, his pants covered in dirt and graprvel, his phone was also found; and it was mangled and nearly broken in two. Kyle could feel the tears rise up in him; but he couldn't find them.

Soon, he was sitting in a hospital room - the quiet atmosphere was not soothing, but yet, eerie. He'd always had some sort of background noise with him that afternoon; Cartman screaming and throwing him the -

Christ. The note. Kyle had the note.

He opened it frantically, and sure enough, Cartman's inked handwriting lie inside.

"Hello, my name is Eric Cartman, and the date today is April 3rd, 2014 - and today, I am ending my own life.

If you even bothered to care, yes, this isn't some sick joke I'm making. If you are asking me why right now, well...

I hate myself. I hate everything. Nobody cares. You all don't give two shits about me. I'm also joining all the crazy people, my half brother, my father, Mr. Kitty, and Hitler. None of these people - or pets, have ever given two shits about me either, so I might as well as join them.

Goodbye

EC

(bookcase, Kyle) "

Kyle had never known anything about a bookcase. He'd never even seen a bookcase anywhere in the Cartman's house, so what would that mean?

Kyle decided that leaving Eric might give him some hope. Maybe he'd get stronger and they'd live happily. Maybe.

As Kyle drove, he felt a pang in his stomach. It wasn't fair. Just last week, Eric had told Kyle about his feelings, and he had to think it out for a few days. He never expected anything like this from Eric, so why?

It all made sense now. He was closing doors, cutting off ends so he could end things. He was ending everything so he'd be okay in the end. He was ending it, not starting it.

Kyle soon knew where his tears were. They were now dripping down his face, and gliding down his jacket.

He frantically ran in and nearly knocked Liane over. He didn't have time to explain, and he didn't waste time on it.

Luckily - he did find a bookshelf in the hallway. Thankfully, Eric had taped it to the inside of the bookshelf. It was an envelope that was labeled with a K - obviously for him. Kyle tore into it, only to find a notecard with Wonderwall lyrics on it.

He would've laughed it off if they weren't so sad to him now.

You're gonna be the one to save me.

Kyle rushed back to the hospital, only to be held back by the doctors. They carried on about how they were saving him and how he must stay back, but he pushed through; only to be disappointed again.

A pale Eric was laying on a table, with a flat lined look already to him. Kyle's tears ran onto Eric's blood-caked hair.

"...and maybe, your gonna be the one that saves me..."

I shouldn't have let him jump.
