When it's raining on A Sunday
Harry and Hermione fell against the side of the castle breathless and laughing, unable to believe what they had just done. They had been running through the grounds, finding puddles and jumping in them. They were both partially soaked but they didn't care. The rain had lifted their spirits and jumping in puddles made they both feel like they were ten years old again. Harry inhaled deeply and said "That...was so much fun!" Hermione grinned and replied "Let's do it again!"
They ran out and looked around the grounds. Hermione shouted "There's one!" They both ran for it while Harry yelled "1, 2, 3 JUMP!" They landed at the same time, splashing water around. Harry spotted another one and ran for it. He tripped over a log at the last moment and landed in the huge puddle face-first. Hermione burst into giggles and ran over to him. He gurgled and said "Wow, that was shallower then I thought" They both laughed.
Harry reached his hand up and Hermione tried to pull him up but instead managed to trip and fall directly on top of him. She blushed and struggled, but she couldn't pull herself up. Harry placed his arms around her waist and whispered "Why the hurry to leave?" She smiled and kissed the Boy-Who-Lived. She found herself lost in his plush, smooth lips. She had wanted to do this for years now but had never been able to sum up the courage. But when it's raining on a Sunday you just never know what might happen.

A/N: I got the inspiration when my mate, Cassy, and I were jumping in puddles for the sake of it. We were just like "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" And then we got all these weird looks at the sight of two 13 year old girls jumping in puddles. It was so much fun (until the bell rang). She also came up with the "Wow, that was shallower then I thought" part. TGIF!
