A/N: These are short explanations on what I think each of the Seven's Christmas traditions would be.

Also, there is a new chapter of Moments in a Tale Between Two Worlds (I'm going to start calling it MiaTBTW) coming soon, so keep an eye out for that!

Merry Christmas!

Percy

Percy had always considered Christmas to be his favorite holiday. Not because of the presents (though he enjoyed those too), but because it was one of the few times his mom forgot about her stress. Percy and his mom had always watched It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, and were delighted when Paul shared that it was his favorite Christmas movie their first Christmas together. On Christmas, they exchanged gifts and had a big dinner (with lots of blue cookies, of course).

Annabeth

Annabeth didn't remember much about Christmases when she was young, other than feeling like her family didn't need her there to be happy. When she re-joined her family as a teenager, they made new family traditions. They had a big family dinner on Christmas Eve, with lots of good food and laughter. On Christmas, Annabeth and her family would open presents and watch movies for the rest of the day. Their favorite movie to watch was White Christmas.

Jason

Jason didn't remember anything about Christmases with his mom and Thalia, and they didn't celebrate at Camp Jupiter. When he and Thalia found each other, they made a tradition of a small celebration in Jason's cabin with lots of decorations, presents, and carols, and although Thalia complained incessantly about the singing (usually with a smile on her face), Jason knew that she was really happy to be celebrating the holiday with her long-lost brother.

Piper

Piper loved Christmas because she got her dad to herself. Although her dad was almost always busy on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day was one of the only times it was just the two of them. They would wake up at seven, put cinnamon rolls in the oven, and swap presents while they cooked. After presents, they would sit on the couch and watch sappy movies, avoiding any that her dad had been in.

Hazel

Hazel never had big Christmases, because they couldn't afford much. Her mother, although ill-tempered most of the time, would lighten up on Christmas, and Hazel got her yearly reminder that her mother did actually love her. They would give each other small, often homemade gifts, and have the biggest dinner they could.

Frank

Frank never celebrated Christmas, on account of his grandmother's traditional views. They always celebrated the Chinese winter solstice holiday with all the traditional foods and ceremonies.

Leo

When Leo was on the run, he celebrated Christmas exactly one time. He happened to get lucky and get into a shelter, where he realized what day it was. Everyone in the shelter sang carols, and it made Leo feel a little less broken inside. Before his mom died, they had the most special Christmases. They celebrated Las Posadas in the Mexican tradition, and swapped small gifts. His mom would usually take most of the day to teach Leo more about mechanics, and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
