Unsaid

( Naruto's Entry # 168 )

It's at times like these that I wonder what I could have said to them.

To the people who loved me.

To the people who hated me.

And to the people who trusted me.

But even so, I still think nothing would've changed. Maybe even if I said something different it would have made the same results.

It's just that I wonder what their reactions would be.

Sakura would've been given a gun.

Asuma would've stopped smoking.

Sasuke would've cracked a smile.

Angela would've stopped flirting with me.

Dominic would've make an actual good joke.

Maybe Rina wouldn't have confessed her love to me.

It's kinda fun to imagine that. I guess this is what authors thought about day to day.

But...

If there was one thing I could have said,

To everyone I met,

To everyone I killed,

To everyone I lost,

And to my daughter,

It would be

Naruto stopped his writing. Damn it, he thought. Finally when he thought he was ready, he hesitated.

He hated the feeling inside of him; that feeling you would always get when you are caught lying.

Feeling worthless.

"Naruto?"

He was brought out of his reverie after a young voice called to him by his doorway.

Having a bit tanned skin, wearing tightly aqua-blue suspenders, and mildly exposed – the way she acts around him now always feel tense for the both of them, hence her awkward smile.

"Rina."

What an unlucky day.

"Today's Wednesday, so yeah."

Right, he remembered, it's Hunting Day. He dusted himself off the desk chair and began looking through his bag.

"So who's my partner today?"

"..."

He knew what the silence meant.

"Again?" He brought his crossbow out and started reloading.

"Yeah and I don't think you need that much ammo for today."

She played with her straps.

"How come?"

"Because Jackie said that there wasn't much activity in the forest,"

She took a glance at the amount of crossbow bolts lying on Naruto's desk.

"Plus you don't have much left."

Naruto let out a dry chuckle.

"Yeah, I don't."

He took a pocket knife out of his boot.

"But Jackie's not always right."

Naruto got to his feet and picked up the bag, letting it hang on his shoulder.

Then a cocky grin came to his face.

"Now let's see what we got today."

The Walking Dead

Please tell me your thoughts about the story so far!

I really love this series but there doesn't seem to be that much of it.

Well, as a crossover with Naruto, of course.

Plus Naruto in this story won't meet up with Rick and the others but he and the others are in the Walking Dead universe.

Well, that's me. See ya next time!

Oh! And don't forget to read my other story, My Only Brother. It might have a boring start but I'll get things up and running on the fifth chapter!
