The wind blew over the golden beach as six figures splashed about in the dark blue ocean. One figure, however, did not wish to join them and just stayed sat on the warm sand, quietly observing the others as they enjoyed themselves in the sparkling water.

Closing his eyes, Fly took a deep breath, inhaling the salty smell of the sea through his nostrils which sent a shiver down his spine. When he opened his eyes, he saw a little girl atop a small turquoise pony coming toward him. He gave them one of his usual warm grins. They stopped in front of him and the little girl got off the pony and walked a couple of feet and reached for his hand which helped prop himself up. The blonde resisted her pulling on his arm as she begged him to join them in the water.

"Come on, Fly! Come join us!" she said. Fly just pushed her hand away and turned his head so he wasn't facing her.

He remembered when they were taken hostage by and cornered by the fish's army. He remembered how that crab broke his leg and ribs, almost sending him to his deathbed. He remembered the final showdown with that abomination of a fish as he witnessed it's transformation into something more horrifying. And he remembered nearly drowning as he struggled desperately to swallow that lifesaving potion. All these things made him have an almost chronic case of aquaphobia.

The teen shook his head, his cap threatening to fall off that expanse of blonde hair that was his head. He lay down, crossing his arms and putting them behind his head to prevent his golden hair from being coated in sand. With nothing else to do, he just stared at the vast blue sky, watching clouds of all different sizes slowly drift through the air and listening to his family having a fun time in the ocean. His eyelids began to droop as he slowly started to lose sense of reality before he descended into a peaceful sleep…
