"Who's your favorite Disney princess?" Jenny asked, wrapped in his arms as she twirled her finger around his chest hairs. He looked down at her in confusion. What other woman did he know to ask such strange random questions? None at all. Secretly though, he loved her innocent questions. She knew him more than any other woman ever had.
He shrugged not putting much effort towards his answer. He had put much more effort into her about twenty minutes ago.
"I know you know them, Jethro." She giggled. "You've been married four times and had a daughter. I'd be more surprised if you didn't."
"You first." He replied.
"Who do you think is my favorite?" She asked.
"You don't seem like a princess kind of girl, Jen" He answered after searching his mind.
"I'm not. Doesn't mean I don't have a favorite, almost every girl does. So get on with it, guess."
He shrugged. "Don't know."
"Pathetic" she joked. "It's Mulan"
"She's a princess? Thought she was just a Disney movie."
"Eh, the arguments go on and on. I think she's a princess, in her own way. Don't you wanna know why she's my favorite?"
"I have a feeling you're going to tell me anyw-"
"She's my favorite because she's like me. Loyal to her father. Doesn't want to be treated like a girl or underestimated by guys. She's fearless, courageous, and brave."
Gibbs grunted realizing she was complimenting herself. "But... she gets lonely sometimes." She finished. He squeezed her tightly against him as if saying 'you are not alone'
"Who's your favorite?" She asked, not allowing herself to get lost in his touch.
"Don't remember her name." He hadn't been married in a while. Kelly died 18 years ago. When was the last time he seriously thought about Disney princesses by name?
She snorted. "Come on, Jethro! You can lie much better than that! I told you it's only fair!"
"Fine. Ariel." He admitted.
"Why?"
"Redhead." He answered bluntly.
"And?" There had to be more to it than that.
"I like the purple bra too that adds on" he answered jokingly. She laughed swatting his chest with her hand. "Anything besides that?"
"Long legs..." he mumbled.
"Anything besides her appearance?" She tried to sound irritated but the laugh she was trying to hide was dominating her tone.
"She's rebellious. Plays by her own rules, makes sacrifices, independent, beautiful. She reminds me of a mix between me and you. Like if we had a child."
"She... Ariel has blue eyes." Jenny smiled. She always thought if she had a baby with him she would have his sparkling blue eyes even though her green eye trait would most likely rule that out. She also imagined the baby to be a redhead but brown is dominate. Most likely if if they ever had a baby he or she would have brown hair with green eyes, but a girl can fantasize, right?
"Do you want children?" He asked.
She inhaled deeply. She didn't expect this at all, but she should've seen it coming. You start a conversation after sex about Disney princesses you are most likely going to talk about having kids.
"I don't know. I think we'd be pretty good parents but I don't know if it's what I want." She replied sitting up in bed as if the question made her uncomfortable.
"Come back" he pleaded.
She did, pulling her face against his chest and inhaling his scent.
"If we have kids... or a kid.. I think he or she will be perfect, Jen. Our prince or princess."
"Well... in case it is a boy... who's your favorite superhero?" She laughed.
He chuckled rolling his eyes. "Geez Jen."
