It's been a long time, hasn't it?
Well, I recently started playing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody and I've become addicted to it.

It has inspired me to start a fan fiction about it, so well…here it is.

But fist before I start, I have to do something you all hate.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or Flowerbud village, they all belong to the company of Natsume; the creators of Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

Well here you go, enjoy kiddos.

"Excited Ranch Plan…. yeah right, this isn't exciting," the new owner of the ranch stared at the place. –What a dump!- she thought.

"Now, now" Thomas; the mayor of Flowerbud village waved his finger. "It may be a bit overgrown, but a little hard work and this place will look great!" he grinned.

"Oh, so your going to help me clean this place up?" she questioned as she looked over at her shoulder to see that the mayor had fled the scene. "Oh joy, I have to do this by myself…" she grumbled as she fell to her knees and began plucking the weeds out one by one.

Hours passed by and the girl had finally finished tearing every last weed out of the ground. It was already 6 p.m. and she was exhausted. "Think I'll turn in for the night…" she wiped the sweat from her forehead and headed into her house. She lazily walked over to the mirror and carefully took out the braids that tied her light brown hair into pigtails. She ran her fingers through her hair and went over to her wardrobe to pick out some pajamas. She put on a pair of silky pajama pants and a pale blue tang top. "G'night" she sighed as she collapsed onto her bed and dozed off right away.

She stirred in her sleep and awoke. She pushed herself from her small, cozy bed to see little blurs. Each of them different colours. Red, blue and yellow. She rubbed her eyes and reopened them to see tiny people; Harvest Sprites as they liked to be called. "What the…" she stared wide eyed at them.

"Have I finally lost my mind?" she questioned as she had a miniature staring contest with them. "Aha…ha…hahahaha!" she began laughing. "I've lost my mind!" she announced to herself.

"No, no!" the red Harvest sprite waved his arms frantically. "We are the Harvest sprites! And your are one of the only two people who can actually see us!"

"Is that so?" she said as she jumped out of bed, "So…" she said.

"Please, we came here to ask a favor of you," the yellow one tugged at her pant leg. "Alright," she said with a confused tone of voice. "What is the favor?"

The blue Harvest Sprite spoke up, "We need you to help save the Harvest Goddess, she turned into stone one year ago!"

"Har..vest…Goddess?" she questioned. "Yes, all you need to do is collect notes and every time you get five it'll turn into a musical instrument!"

The girl looked puzzled, "And…how many of the 'notes' and I suppose to collect to help return her to normal?"

"100!" the three Harvest Sprites cheered.
-One….hundred?- she thought as she let out a sigh of frustration, "Fine, I'll help you…" she put on a fake smile; she was actually annoyed right then.

"Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!" they cheered as they hopped up and down like little pogo sticks.

"Oh right, we forgot to ask your name!" the red one poked the girl.
The girl looked down at the Harvest Sprites, "My name is Willow…" she replied happily. "Right, Willow. Good luck with finding the notes!" they began to leave. "WAIT!" Willow called. "Who is the other person who can see you guys?" she asked as she crouched down beside them. "His name is Jaime, he runs the ranch on the opposite side of the village…" they answered before they quickly disappeared into the night.

"Jaime…sounds interesting…"
