Avoxes came to him but he flatly refused. His family came to visit him from time to time but was left with profound answers. Even the president once, actually once, decided to pay a visit to him, and saw the first time how broken you can become after such events. However, he merely dismissed the case, for a matter that was important to Cato but so indifferent to others.
How did this make him feel? He couldn't really have any emotions after the drugs took over. He was addicted. He remembered once when Brutus came in and almost killed him with his bare hands. He remembered the sounds coming from the end of the hall. He also remembered seeing the reapings, just barely, and noticing that it was just like any other.
"Katniss Everdeen."
He looked up, looked down, and looked back up again at the monitor. He then turned on to focus his gaze on Enobaria, who was watching intently. For a second she stared back at him, and Cato smiled. The noise in the room turned eerily quiet, and they all turned to look at Cato, who was watching the screen carefully. None of them dared to interrupt the victor from his thoughts. Cato then turned the monitor off and stared at the people.
"12 could win."
An instant murmur was heard from the other side of the room, and soon enough, everyone was talking.
