Author's Note: Hello, loves. Here's another drabble. One-shot. The pairing is Shiki/Rima. I absolutely adore them together. I don't own VK. Enjoy. Jesus loves you:D

"Hey, Shiki, what time is it?" Rima asked me.

"Time for you to get a watch."

"Shiki."

I sighed, then smiled. She was so cute. "It's 10:15."

"Oh." Rima suddenly stiffened. I was about to ask her if she was ok, but then her eyes turned blood red.

"Rima, when was the last time you had a blood tablet?" I was a little worried. I knew Rima had to stay slim for our modeling, and she wasn't above skipping meals and blood tablets to keep her figure.

"Rima! That isn't good for you!" But I knew my lecturing wouldn't help her. I offered my neck. "Here. I don't have time to go get you anything, and it would be just our luck for Yuki Cross to cut her finger about now.

Rima buried her face in my neck, piercing me and drinking my blood. She must've been ravenous, because she was surely draining half the blood in my body. I thought I was going to pass out, but thank God she pulled away in time.

"Thank you," She said, wiping her mouth. "I was just so thirsty…" She must've noticed my pale face. "Shiki, did I take too much? Do you need to take some back?"

I know it must sound like a strange conversation, even among vampires, but Rima and I … Well, we both knew there were feelings under the childhood friendship we shared. We were just too scared to breach the limits of best friends.

"It wasn't you, Rima, stop looking so worried." I cupped her face in my hand and watched her try to stifle a yawn. "If you need to go to sleep, go."

"No, I'm fine. We needed to work out details for the shoot tomorrow anyway. They want our opinion on what angle it should be on: Brother/Sister, best friends, or… You know…"

Romantic. She obviously didn't know how to articulate it without making any implications. I could guess her plot: Get me to answer first so she could just agree with me. Two could play at that game.

"Well, what do you think?"

"I don't care."

"Well…" Crap. Why didn't I say that? "I think it depends on the setting, the clothes, and the way they want to present us." This was what made shooting with Rima awkward; they always wanted to shoot us together because we had 'great chemistry', but there was a personal aspect with the two of us that made it awkward afterward.

"Yeah, you're probably right." She was disappointed. I was tired.

"Rima. Let's go to bed. I'm sleepy." I was always such a baby when I was tired.

"Shiki, I won't be able to sleep just yet, you know blood makes me jumpy."

"But I don't wanna go up by myself."

"Just…Here…" She pulled me down so my head was in her lap, and grabbed a blanket from the back of the sofa to cover me. Physically, it was comfortable. I closed my eyes and buried my face in the blanket.

"Thanks. 'Night." And I settled down into a deep sleep.

When I woke up, I was momentarily confused. Why was I on the couch? Who was… Oh, yeah. I'd fallen asleep on Rima's lap. When I checked my watch, it read 4:23. I looked up at Rima. She was fast asleep, leaning back against the back of the sofa. That couldn't be comfortable.

I sighed and stood up, then bent down to scoop up the sleeping beauty. I carried her up to her room and tucked her into her bed. Pausing a minute to look at her gorgeous sleeping face, I committed it to memory. She looked so innocent while she was sleeping.

I turned to leave, to go to my bed, but I felt something tug on my sleeve. I looked back to see Rima looking sleepily at me.

"No… Shiki…Stay…" If I was a baby when I was sleepy, she was an infant. But a cute infant, nonetheless.

I slid onto the bed beside her. "I'm right here, Rima. You're ok." I love you.

I didn't say the words out loud, I couldn't. But I hoped she realized nonetheless. She meant so much.

No.

She meant everything.
