This is my first Kuroshitsuji fanfic. I don't hide the fact that it's... well... far from perfect! Yeah...
And please if you're one of those people that's all Christian and stuff, no hate! I'm an atheist and honestly I really don't care.
Anyhow, that aside, this is a very very short drabble. I'd call it Ciel's musing over God and stuff. I'd say there's a spolier from the last episode of anime but apart from that I don't think so... It of coarse has nothing to do with manga for, as you probably know, Yen Press blocked it. Damn...
Disclaimer: I owe nothing...? It all belongs to the rightful copyright sign holder. Whose name I've forgotten. lol?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Sebastian Michaelis. One hell of a butler.
Ciel Phantomhive. Earl of Phantomhive and Queen's Watchdog.
Was their meeting a coincident? Or not?
If God really existed why did He allow it then? Why did He allow His angels to kill Ciel's parents? Why did He allow the tragedies to fall upon the young boy? Why did He allow such pain to exist? Was he fading? The endless rows of 'whys' and regrets filled the Earth. The pathetic race was finally stopping to believe in the God that was beginning to resemble not a ruler but the last fading smile of a cosmic Cheshire Cat.
How pathetic.
But the greatest question of all was the most truthful of all. 'Why did He, the greatest fool of all, allow humans to be so, oh terribly weak!' But this question was long answered. 'Because He was a fool. He created humans in His pathetic image.'
That answer brought yet another question into young minds. 'Did this mean He too was weak?' But there was no answer to that question. Though the young Phantomhive would probably know the short response to this inquiry. 'If so, what hope did this pathetic race have anyway?'
Their fading ruler was after all the greatest fool of all.
Without doubt, His angels were astray from the 'righteous path', blinded by faith. His 'children' weak and naive. Disgusting to the core.
The only 'righteous' thing He ever created were demons, the supreme rulers of the underworld. And the fading ruler knew from the first time He set His eyes on the beasts, that they were going to be the rulers after he vanished. They weren't merciful. They showed no compassion for the weak, they killed them. It was, after all, natural selection.
Nothing lasted forever, even God. And Ciel, of coarse, knew that. He knew that Sebastian was becoming more hungry for his soul, with each day passing, and Ciel didn't regret anything. Not even the cursed contract that will be the death of him. And now knew, as Sebastian sucked his soul out, that God was a fool and a weakling without future. Just like Ciel. Worthless, soulless, naive, disgusting, the list continued into blackness.
Pain started tugging him into blackness. Blinding him for eternity. Sebastian's wicked smile started fading also, like a last smile of the Cheshire Cat. The smile that both welcomed him into new life and now was permanently removing him from it. With the demons last departing fading smile Ciel came to realization.
The smile bore both by Sebastian and God, started to fade into black. Numbness filling him down to the core. And the last thing Ciel managed to think was just how pathetic the God was...
R&R ! =)
