Yes, she smiled like a angel
And shone like the sun
Every breath a piece of finely made music
Hair a chestnut brown
Eyes a glittering green
He loved her like she was his life
And she would smile just for him.
But then,
The man in blue came.
He was delicate like a bird
And frail as fine china
But what every woman wanted
What she wanted
Change is what came
Along with the man in blue
He smiled at her
And she would smiled
What do you do when you have nothing?
Hide without purpose
Pretend not to care
Keep love locked away in your heart?
A pitiful existence
An everlasting existence
Never to see light again?
But then another shone
She was a twin he thought
And was weary of her brother
A man of guns and solidarity
The girl was beautiful
Hair of gold,
Eyes of grass.
A soul of kindness.
She listened
She learned
And then she said,
"Gilbert, I love you"
And he said, passion ignited
Fire ensued
Kindness flared
Nothing to hold back his happiness
Pure instinct to hold and keep came to his mind
Feelings he had only felt
around that girl,
and that man in blue.
A pitiful existence, it was, before he met her
"Lilliā¦I love you too."
