Hi Babe!
Tonight's going to be great, I got tickets to see Cher on her "Dressed To Kill" tour. I've been to every one of her tours since "Take Me Home" and I've got about 85 stacks of tickets that I saved up since then. I wanted to go to one of the shows that Sonny & Cher did but I was giving birth to my daughter, Cherilyn. Her Farewell tour was a long one, I attended 92 shows in the United States and traveled to Europe to see her 13 times there and saw her four times in Australia. Of course, I traveled again to see her in Las Vegas when she played at Caesar's Palace in 2008 and 2009. My whole family went to Vegas with me. There was my daughter Cherilyn, her husband Sonny and their two kids, Little Chasity and baby Elijah. We drove from Las Vegas, listening to 12 Cher albums for 6 and a half hours all the way to the Grand Canyon. Little Chastity knows all the words to "Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves." Baby Elijah has grown a bit since then but he still loves his sailor hat he wore after he was born. My son-in-law, Sonny will teach him how to play the guitar to "If I Could Turn Back Time" some day, I'm sure. Cherilyn had go to Little Chastity's school earlier this year because she forgot to pack her lunch in her "Sonny & Cher" lunchbox. Little Chastity doesn't like to buy lunch anymore after she accidentally spilled ketchup on her fur vest one day. Next month, Little Chastity was supposed to have her school recital and dance to "Burlesque" but the director had to cancel because he got 17 phone calls from parents of 11- and 12-year-old girls complaining about their daughters wearing the costumes they wore in the movie. Sonny and Cherilyn were the only parents who didn't have a problem with the wardrobe but (bleep) that! Anyway, I actually enjoy our family time. Every month, we have our family meetings. Last month, the topic was whether to watch "Moonstruck" or "Faithful." On rare occasions, I got what I wanted and when I didn't, I had to figure out how to download "Moonstruck" on Sonny's smartphone. Us old people still can't figure these (bleep) things out! At least, I figured out how to put ringtones on his phone. Little Elijah likes to sing to "I Got You Babe" every time the phone went off. As for me, I've been married and divorced twice before. I almost didn't get divorced the second time because my husband was too busy, cutting his long blonde hair he had since 1979, to sign the divorce papers. I once dated this guy who was 22 years younger than me. He wanted to have a baby with me and name him "Chaz" but I told him he had to finish the 11th grade first.
Anyway, that's life for me. Now I must go buy some new wigs and get another face-lift right away so I won't be late for the concert. If I am, I already got tickets for the next 2 months to see the tour anyways.
Bye, bye, Chickadees!
