A hand shaped starship sailed through the void of space, debris bouncing off harmlessly on its shield. When it encountered a large asteroid, it balled into a fist and smashed right through it. It has been years since they escaped the earth, persecuted by humans who they thought of as friends, as families, as loved ones. The three hundred occupants of this ship were busy maintaining its systems; it was a prototype after all. The surprising fact that this ship held itself together, even after fifteen years of continuous usage it pushed onward.

Within its command center a gem sighed, standing over the monitors and watching as the vessel she commanded sailed through the vacuum toward its destination. Her burden is heavy, after all, she was chosen by others to lead them toward something better than they had on earth.

Her eyes closed for a moment, lamenting the fact that she and her gems are basically homeless space nomads looking for a planet that they can inhabit. The gem in question heard the tapping of a shoe, growing closer and closer by the moment until it stopped. She pressed a button on the console in front of and the door slid open, revealing a one-eyed emerald who by her expression looked a bit tired.

"Hey Emerald, what can I do for you?" the gem asked without turning to face the new occupant of the room.

"My diamond, we found a world that meets our needs. It will take a while but I'm sure we will reach It." the emerald told her superior.

"How Many times do I have to tell, you don't have to call me my diamond every time you address Me." the gem, who was revealed as a diamond, talked.

"I can't help it; you unified us when every gem lost hope. You stood up for us when the humans rounded us in that camp on the beach and wanted to shatter us, we are changed now and there is nothing to keeps us clinging to humanity that we lost forever. We are gems, we are not bound but the social constructs like the humans that we once were. Serving you gives us a sense of fulfillment that we never felt before, the least we can do is give you the respect that you deserve."

"Alright, but still I can't believe what happened all those years ago. What drove them to hate us? But I don't care as long as we reach our new home." The diamond told her emerald.

"I'm forwarding the coordinates to you command console, best of luck my diamond." The Emerald said, and with that, she left the room

Upon entering the coordinates into the mainframe, the diamond sat back in her command chairs. She recalled the memories that she desperately wanted to leave behind her, cringing at the harsh treatment she and her fellow gems had to endure at the hands of the former fellow human.
FLASHBACK BEGINS

Sabrina Collins was just an average sixteen-year-old girl, making her way toward a high school she dreaded going to every day. The brunette sighed and adjusted her glasses; the teen took a deep breath and marched toward her destination.

She was a skinny teen; her figure would be best described as gangly more than anything else. For that very reason she got hell for it, the first day she came to Beach City High the popular kids started giving her weird looks. The harassment began with small things, a push here and a shove there then they began escalating. They stole her assignments, ruined any project she has done and any chance of making friends since she set foot inside the school. They made her life a living hell, thus turning her into the school pariah. No one wanted to talk to her, not even the social outcasts wanted to be friends with her.

"Sorry, but we are not that desperate to be friends with someone like you." One of them told.

She tried to speak to the teachers, but no one believed her. It was mind-numbing, how the teacher chose to believe the aggressors over the victim. How would they believe her when there was no witness to their actions against her? The only thing that she can do is endure the torture.

She entered the school and went straight to her class, and as she found herself close to the door of her class someone tripped her. Sabrina barely held herself from taking a nose dive into the floor, grunting in pain as the impact on her palm was rather hard. The teen looked up, only to find the sneering face of Regina George one of the most popular girls in the school.

"Watch where you go freak, you nearly ruined my hair." The popular girl said with such venom, that Sabrina couldn't believe it.

"Yeah sorry about, I'll be careful next time." the brunette said meekly, trying to put as much distance between her and the sneering blond as possible.

"You better be, or else there will be hell to pay." The blond spat and went toward class.

The school pariah sighed; she took a deep breath and entered the classroom as well. As a daily routine when classes start, she would always check her seat. The brunette remembered the last time she neglected to do that, having your pants glued to your seat was not a fun experience.

"Alright, my seat is good to go." She thought to herself.

She checked her homework, good thing that it was there. This time at least she still has it, the only thing she has to do now was get through the period without being mentally exhausted from the bullying. As the teacher continued to, she had to remove the fourth spitball out of her hair.

The next period was the worst part of every day; they would taunt her about how skinny she looks. Sabrina was conscious about her body, and the taunting would make her even more miserable than before. The only thing that her bullies did not know about her was her willpower, the two years of taunting and trying to psychologically rip her apart made her more determined to prove them wrong.

Call her petty, the teen knew exactly how to verbally destroy her bullies. To watch them squirm in embarrassment as she rips their social lives apart. But she was raised better; Sabrina would not sink to their level and allow herself to become the thing she hates the most.

Their math period came in; she took her seat after checking it as usual. Like the other times, this one they just covered her in pencil shaving all of her head. This petty shit has to stop, and now would be a good time to do it.

She knew who did, it was Emma one of the lackeys. Sabrina walked up to the girl's desk and slapped her so hard that the teen fell to the ground. To say Sabrina's response was shocking is an understatement; it was brutal and swift at the same time.

The fallen girl was too shocked to utter a single word, her shaking hand moved to her cheek and she tried to touch it and it stung badly.

"Miss Collins, what in the world do you think you're doing? I will not tolerate such behavior from you. I've expected better than you, bullying is." The man said, but as he tried to continue talking but was stopped by the teen's hand.

"Spare me your bullshit you old fart, both of us know damn well you are a liar," Sabrina said her voice laced with such venom it stopped the man from uttering a single word.

"I have few words that I would like to say." The brunette said, holding her stomach.

"I'm sick and tired of you, my patience is running thin you shallow bitch." The teen spat those words toward her downed target, who was still rubbing her bruised cheek.

"I stood by and allowed you, and your sluts of friends to insult me. I allowed you to mock my body, to spread rumors about me but no more.

Her breathing was ragged; all of her emotions threatening to erupt like a raging volcano and overwhelm her. Sabrina did not notice herself crying, but the rest of her class did. Tears streamed from her eyes; yet, the wrathful look never left her face.

The downed girl felt small in comparison to the girl that stood in front of her. She never knew that the gangly bitch was this vicious, and to top it all she humiliated her in front of the whole class. Emma turned around, trying to probe for a reaction but she found none.

She saw it on their faces; the pure and utter shock never left their features. She tried to get up, but she quickly found herself pinned to the ground by a foot. She looks up, the teen was met with a pair of glowing pink eyes.

"Did I say that you can get up? Do you want me to hurt you more?" Sabrina spat.

One of her classmates tried to talk and was quickly shut down by her extremely angry look.

"What the fuck do want to say huh? You finally have the balls to speak now?" the angry teen shouted.

"Y-your eyes, they are glowing pink." The boy stammered, barely able to finish the sentence.

The girl noticed someone pulling out his phone, and started recording everything. Sabrina wiped away the tear tracks from her cheek, only to find her tears glowing pink. The pain in her stomach made her stagger a bit, releasing the girl from under her foot.

She held on to a desk that was near her with her free hand. Her eyelids felt heavy, her balance was lost and everything turned bright pink before she lost consciousness.

Hello and welcome to my new fic, this new baby I like to call G.E.M.S. but please be patient with me. As you can see the theme of this fic will be transformations, I am a huge fan of it. The Protagonist of this story is Sabrina Collins, a bullied high school girl that displayed a feat of strength beyond what her skinny body would display. You most likely realized what type of being she will become, but I will leave everything for the next chapter to explain.
