"Hold on tight, Kit! Just keep breathing!"

"You make it sound so easy," I gasped out, coughing up more blood while putting pressure on the deep gash that sat on the seal of my stomach. My vision began to blur and my head was getting lighter by the second. The world around me was darkening and spinning, now, everything completely unidentifiable except a shrill, high pitched laughter--

"Hold on another second, Kit! Hold on!"

It felt an odd sensation that made my body tingle, and then, everything was black.

--

My throat was dry. I felt as if I had swallowed a hundred needles. My stomach felt as though it would explode at any second. My breathing was shallow, but somehow I was alive. When I tried to speak, it sounded like a croak. My voice cracked several times before I was able to get even a single syllable out. "Ky-uu?"

"What is it, Kit?"

"You're alright?" I coughed repetitively.

"More like are you alright, Kit."

I sucked in a breath, causing a sharp pain in my chest. I winced, then said, "Fine."

I wonder... what has even brought me this far? Would I still be here today if it wasn't for Kyuu? ...No, definitely not. But still... I want more from him... another favor to benefit myself instead of others... it could save lives but it could cost others... still... I have to try... I have to ask.

"Kyuu... can you turn back time?" A long pause.

"What of it, Kit?"

"Kyuu…please...take me back to the day before my academy graduation exam."

"…Are you sure, Kit?"

No. I'm not sure of anything anymore.

"…Yeah…I have to," I coughed, blood trickling down me chin now. "--fix the wrongs... turn them right..."

"Time travel isn't anything to be trifled with... it comes at a price, as well. Are you prepared for that, Kit?"

"What sort of price," I taste blood. Tons and tons of blood. I'm surprised I can even speak with all of it in my mouth.

"You will have to start reworking your jutsus from scratch. You will remember everything, which may give you better control, but you have to redo everything. Relive all the missions and once again suffer the tragedies that you cannot prevent."

"That's fine," I gurgled, the blood too great now, making a matalic pool in my mouth. At least my throats no longer dry.

"You will also have to start in that form,"

"O...kay." I coughed, then gurgled, "Hurry,"

My head began swimming and my vision began to blur again. The only thing visible to me at that second was a large red enveloping me from my center. Bright red chakra flames suddenly circled me, engulfing me and cutting off my last supply of oxygen. I took in a ragged breath and closed my eyes, waiting for the finish. Then everything went black, and the world around me was gone.
