Wrong Timing
A/N: I present to you my (Almost) 100-word ficlet. I don't do these often (Translation: I've run out of cool ideas.), so I'll post this as an individual. Teehee. Enjoy. Oh yes- this was inspired by my one-shot. Expect that popping up. ^___^
Wrong Timing
Nghi
Something's wrong....
He dodged the tentacles and leapt forward.
I don't
remember.
She grunted, releasing Hiraikotsu. Beside her, Houshi
pushed one tentacle away, giving him time to activate the ofudas. A small fox
was nearby, battling limbs with a youkai.
What did he warn me about?
Hiraikotsu bounced off a barrier; Sango scuttled after
it. The ofudas burst into flames, and the tentacle knocked Miroku down. Shippo
wearied out his Foxfire, and poison from the dismembered limbs surged through
Kirara, evident as she swayed.
Only Inuyasha and she remained standing.
He severed the retreating limbs, attacking more often.
Naraku was losing….
What did he say?!
Inuyasha swung for the head….
She remembered now. "INUY-"
He did not miss.
