A/N Hi! So this is just a bunch of nonsense I thought up...hope you like it!

Alone in the woods.

How long had she been there?

She didn't care.

She was ready. She was going to end it.

She shivered. So cold.

She wouldn't do this to her family at Christmas, but she was broken. Alone.

She looked up at the cold stars and began to whistle a favorite tune, one that had been her favorite since she had first seen the movie, four years ago, when she was thirteen.

Unknown to her, in the shadows someone was watching.

Her whistling broke off and she began to sing.

I'll swim and sail on

savage seas,

with nary a fear of drowning.

And gladly ride the waves of life.

If you will marry me.

She smiled to herself.

Who would? The only person she had ever really wanted was long gone.

No scorching sun nor

freezing cold

will stop me on my journey

If you will promise me your heart...

She stopped, wishing for him.

And love me for eternity.

Her head whipped around and she gasped, seeing the one she had missed for so long walk towards her. For a moment she could say nothing, then smiled and continued the song.

My dearest one, my darling dear,

your mighty words astound me.

He raised his arm and she raised hers, putting them together and going round in a slow dance.

But I've no need of mighty deeds when I feel your arms around me.

He laughed and took up the song as it went a bit faster.

But I would bring you rings of gold

I'd even sing you poetry

and I would keep you from all harm if you would stay beside me.

The song and dance went faster and faster as they went along. She began the next verse:

I have no use for rings of gold I care not for your poetry I

only want your hand to hold

He sang:

I only want you near me.

They sang together, dancing clumsily.

To love and kiss, to sweetly hold

For the dancing and the dreaming,

and I will love you for all time

if you will stay beside me.

I'll swim and sail on savage seas with nary a fear of drowning and gladly ride the waves of life if you will marry me!

She started laughing and he pulled her into his arms.

"Winter..."

she whispered.

He held her tighter.

"I'm here."

"I missed you. So much."

"I won't leave you again. Especially now I know what you came out here to do."

She looked up guiltily.

"How did you know?"

"I found your note."

He pulled away just enough to stare hard at her.

"Don't ever do that to me ever again. Ever. I can't live without you."

She looked down and mumbled, "I thought you didn't love me anymore. I thought it was probably a good thing anyways."

"Not this again."

She slowly looked back up at him.

"Not this 'I'm not beautiful, I'm worthless' thing."

He looked hard into her eyes.

"What do I have to do to convince you that you are beautiful?"

He decided to answer his own question as he pulled her closer and pressed his lips against hers.

She stiffened.

Yes, they had loved each other for years.

Yes, she would do anything for him.

But they had never kissed. Not once.

But all those thoughts fell away as she kissed him back, deepening it.

He backed her against a tree and opened his mouth, and she let him in, crushing herself against him, winding her hands through his hair.

It ended all too soon.

"There. Does that convince you?" He whispered.

"Undoubtably."

"Good. Let's get you home before your mom calls the cops."

She giggled.

"Yeah, and they find the note."

He played along.

"And instead of finding you, they find...us."

"Wouldn't that be a surprise!"

"Of course."

"Winter, I love you."

"And I love you."
