Lol, story inspiration!
Okay, so there were fries at lunch on Thursday...and I ABSOLUTELY lOVE them.
Thursday is by far the best day to eat the school lunch.
And they had CHICKEN SANDWICHES!
Yeah, lunch was bangin'.
(and so was the ketchup!)
R&R
Owen was in his fourth block English 10 class. He was learning about rhyme and meter in poetry. The class assignment was to write an ode to something that happened, or was about to happen, today.
Owen sat in his desk, and pondered for the longest time on what to write about. The class period was almost over before he picked up his pencil, and begun to write his great poem...
An Ode to French Fries
Oh dear french fries,
you are so dear to me.
When my stomach cries,
you preform your good deed.
So salty and crisp,
you are fresh and hot.
My sadness into an eclipse,
you have my hunger fought.
And so I write this ode,
you I have in mind.
I bring you as food in my abode,
you help me over time.
I am so happy to see you at lunch
you fill my tray up.
And you disappear as I munch
you are dear like my pup.
Be glad for who you are,
you are loved by many.
People eat you near and far,
you are worth every penny.
Owen put down his pencil, satisfied with his work. Once the bell rung, he turned it in to the teacher, Mr. McClain, out the door.
When Mr. McClain got home later that evening to grade papers, he looked at Owen's and tears started forming from the wells of his eyes. He sniffled and blotted his eyes, and all of the water-work stuff. It was a sight. He then took action the following morning. He called the school cafeteria. Chef picked up, and then Mr. McClain recited and explained Owen's poem. He then asked Chef if he could put it in the cafeteria. Chef then wept, and spoke of how beautiful it was. They then began to eat french fries.
Soon, the poem was framed and hung all over the school cafeteria. The new shot coverage of it, and then McDonalds heard about it. They Ba-da-ba-da-da-I'm-Lovin-It and payed Owen ten thousand dollars for it. He gratefully accepted the money.
Lol, stupid, I know.
But french fries are AWESOME!
I thought of this two evenings ago, but I was too tired two evenings ago, and I ran out of time yesterday...
So I wrote it in Algebra II class yesterday.
In half an hour.
LOL.
