Alicia In Wasteland

Alicia stomped into the house and slammed the front door so hard, picture frames came crashing off the wall and fell onto the floor.

She smirked to herself as she raced up the stairs and heard her mom's angry scream.

"ALICIA!"

She slammed her room door and locked it. She ripped off her school uniform. Ugh, it was such an ugly blue- she hated it. As she stared at the uniform, she seemed to fill with rage. She snatched the scissors out of her sewing basket and cut it up into a bunch of pieces.

Alicia went insane. She glared into her mirror and began to viciously chop off her long locks of beautifully rich, brown hair. She reached into her backpack and pulled out a black mini skirt, and a tight fitting, black shirt. She donned them on super fast. She put on her heavy makeup, and grabbed whatever few treasured belongings she had. She stuffed them all into her bag.

As she walked past her mirror, she stopped to take a look. She was pleased with the image she saw. "Yes," she hissed at her disturbed image,"I am gone and NEVER coming back!" She stormed down the stairs and saw her mother on her knees cleaning up the broken glass from the picture frames. When her mother saw her, she was angry and shocked. "What in the world are you thinking you're going, and why the heck and you dressed like that? You get right back upstairs young lady and change-" she stopped mid-sentence as Alicia grabbed a picture of her father off the floor, and whirled around to face her.

She grinned viciously. "Goodbye, ALICE." Alicia spat out and stormed out of the house. "Alicia! Get back here!" her mother screamed after her as she ran out into the rain and hopped into a car. It sped off down the street.

Her mother fell right to her knees, in the cold rain and wept bitterly. She felt like she had been slapped in her face and had her heart torn out all over again. "Alice. She called me Alice. What happened to my darling, good little girl? The one who respected her mother?"

She sat on her knees and wept bitterly.

Alicia sat in the car laughing hysterically. "You look HOT, babe." Her friend Travis said suggestively. Alicia had been crushing on Travis for the longest time...he was the town's bad boy, and every girl coveted him. She wanted to have a real relationship with him, he just wanted her body, like every other girl who's hearts he broke in town.

He laughed inwardly at Alicia's naivete...he was gonna take this girl for a ride.

Alicia glanced back at him. "You look pretty hot yourself, handsome." She played around. She grinned as Travis blared the radio. She felt bad. Bad to the bone. "Goodbye little "Angel Alicia", hello real Alicia!" She thought smugly to herself.

The rain was coming down in buckets, pounding the windshield of their car. Alicia "So babe, where are we going tonight?" She asked Travis. He grinned a wicked smile. "Some where fun, Angel." Alicia's mental alarms were set off at the mannerism of which he spoke those words...they sounded evil. She reprimanded herself and stuffed down her feelings and threw caution to the wind. She was gonna have fun tonight- whatever kind of fun it was that Travis had in mind. She was determined she was going to. And she wasn't gonna let ANYTHING stop her.

She laughed and blared the music even louder, feeling more and more rebellious every minute.
