A/N:I wrote this story because I felt bad about reading other's stories with nothing my own. I want to thank BillatWork for the encouragement and help. Also, I would like to thank Canadian Chucky for telling me to italicize the thoughts.

Disclaimer:I do not own Chuck, nor am I affiliated with anyone that does.

Sarah was on her way to pick Chuck up for their date. Of course, it wasn't
really a date. It was just another way to further their cover. Unfortunately,
it was as close as they could get at this point. At least there weren't going to be any bugs and this just wasn't another surveillance mission under the pretense of being a date. It was just going to be the two of them at dinner.

These thoughts made her remember the first time she and Bryce had a real date.

It was the Saturday after they had completed their first big mission together. They had successfully completed several missions together before this one, but this mission was important. They had to spy on a meeting being held by the Russian Embassy and send the information back to headquarters to be reviewed. That was the easy part. After their bosses had looked over the information, they deemed it necessary that an ambassador that had taken part in the meeting be killed. The ambassador had a reputation for being elusive, but they found him easily. The challenge was the twenty armed guard security detail he had on him. With the odds two to twenty, it didn't look like they were going to make it. In the end though, they were successful.

Bryce had asked her out several times before, but she had always turned him down. It wasn't that she wasn't attracted to him, she was. It was just that dating a fellow agent was against the rules, and Sarah Walker was not one to break the rules. Bryce was persistent though, so that Saturday he had come over with a pizza and a movie. She tried to turn him down again, but he kept saying that she could no longer deny that there was something between them. She finally relented and let him in.

That was one of the worst dates she had ever had. The pizza he had brought over had olives and she didn't like olives. The bad part was that she had told him on several occasions that she didn't like olives. His excuse was that he forgot. The movie he had brought with him was a three hour long documentary on the making of a movie that she had never seen because she didn't particularly like science fiction movies. He insisted that they watch it and said that she would enjoy it. She didn't.

She laughed at the memory. She knows that if she and Chuck were to have a real date it would be perfect. It would be perfect because Chuck knows little things about her. He knows a few of her likes and dislikes, and he was always eager to learn more. As it was though, she was picking him up for a date that wasn't even a date. She was a little early too.

"Oh well," she sighed as she got out of the car.

It's funny she thought as she walked to the Bartowski apartment. Chuck's known me less than a year and he knows me better than Bryce did in twice that time.

Shortly after she had knocked on the door, Ellie answered.

"Hey, Sarah!" Ellie said after seeing who it was. "You're a little early."

"I know, but I wanted to surprise Chuck," Sarah lied.

"Oh well, he's in his room getting ready, but you can go in there if you want," Ellie said with a smile on her face, because she thought she had an idea of what the 'surprise' would be.

"Okay, thanks," Sarah replied.

She walked through the living room and hallway to Chuck's room. When she got there, she was frozen in place.

Chuck was standing in front of the bed trying to decide on which shirt to wear for his 'date' with Sarah. Needless to say, he had no shirt on. Sarah had never seen Chuck without a shirt. He looked better that she had imagined. His body wasn't as defined as Bryce's, but he still looked really good. In fact, with the way he looked and the tension that had built between them over the past eleven months, she just couldn't help herself.

She quickly closed the distance between them and wrapped her arms around his neck. She then captured his lips with hers. Before she knew it, her hand was in his hair and his arms were wrapped around her waist. She was just about to further the kiss when Chuck's voice broke her train of thought.

"Sarah? Are you okay?" he asked.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she answered," Yeah, I'm fine."

"Okay, it just looked like you spaced out for a minute," he said buttoning up the shirt he had picked out.

"Yeah, I was just thinking," she answered, still looking at his body.

"Alright then. Ready to go?" he asked, his shirt now all the way buttoned.

"Yes," was her simple reply.

They walked out of the room. When they entered the living room, Ellie winked at Sarah and gave her a knowing look. Sarah politely nodded and tried not to look embarrassed. After they had walked out of the front door and got into the Porsche, they headed to the restaurant.
