Hello, everyone! I am allowed to continue the story which was originally written by A Girl Who Loves Tennant and can be found here: s/8423950/1/An-Alcoholic-Doctor . Consider this as its second chapter.

Pond POV

After an extremely delightful night, Amy and Rory got up to seek the Doctor. They both were kind of curious what a hung-over Timelord might look like. When they entered the console room, he was already running around, flicking switches and pulling levers. A bit more sluggishly and clumsily, mind you, but still doctor-y.

"Oh! Hello, Ponds!" he exclaimed grinning widely. "How are you?"
"Um nice. What about you?" Rory asked, switching into his nurse mode. He knew how painful hangovers could be.
"I'm great, just as usual, why are you two looking at me like that?" he asked while still running around. He was talking a bit louder than usual and was leaning on the console for stability, but due to the loud TARDIS engine noises and the bumpy ride, the Ponds didn't notice.
"Um, because you were absolutely ** last night?" Amy suggested in an ironical voice.
"Oh that! Never mind that. Let's go and see something amazing!"

And off they went.

Doctor POV
He woke up to an enormous headache and to the sensation of feeling like utter crap. He tried to stand and almost failed.
If someone had offered Aspirin to make him feel better, he'd have probably taken it. Luckily, there was no stupid human around to do so. After a while, he managed to get dressed and even found his way to the medical bay to get some Timelord painkillers (The TARDIS was being very considerate and had dimmed her lights and engine noises in the meantime). It wouldn't be exaggerated to say that they were more than 300 years old, but they helped all the same. Feeling a lot better, he sat down in the console room and thought about the previous night.

It had been gorgeous. Initially, he had just gone to Stormcage Prison to visit River. She, however, had told him that she wanted to celebrate something, even though she had never told him what. So The Doctor had brought her to the pub in Leadworth. To please River, he had even drunk some wine without spitting it out. Then he tried the harder stuff, which turned out to be less disgusting than anticipated.

people who died because of him. For this one night, he had been able to forget about his horrible deeds.

That was when The Doctor decided that he was more use to the universe if he got rid of that dark side of his more often.

Perhaps even constantly.
He jumped to his feet and started the TARDIS. There wasn't much alcohol inside his ship and he was going to fix that. Thanks to the TARDIS's ability to travel anywhere, The Doctor was able to get some bottles of whiskey. He then proceeded to hide all, except one in a bigger-on-the-inside hole in the TARDIS control room. The Doctor opened it and took a few gulps. He wasn't going to get as drunk as before, so he stopped and enjoyed the sensation of dizziness and joy.

After a while, he could hear the Ponds approaching. Quickly, he stood up, staggered slightly on his way to the hole and hid his bottle. Then The Doctor whispered to the console, "Take us somewhere wibbly-wobbly, make loud noises and it a bumpy ride – they don't need to find out."

He slurred ever so slightly and really was a bit wobbly. However, they wouldn't notice if everything shook as well. He jumped around the console and tried to look as normal as possible when Amy and Rory appeared.

"Oh! Hello, Ponds!"
