My very first challenge: I should be finishing those last couple paragraphs for the "Depot" chapter, or writing "Transaction". Or "The Hunter and the Soldier", or "The Heirs". ANYWAY! The point is, I have so much on my plate, if I started another story, you know I wouldn't finish. So here are a couple challenges that are due to these great plots and scenes coming in my head and then me feeling guilty for not writing my other stories.

The first:

Nico disappeared a long time ago, when Percy and Annabeth were 17. Now, [insert number that would make them a lot older than Nico, at thirteen. Or as close as you can figure to his canon age, because that's what I got out of it] and married, one of them has a dream that Nico is in the Lotus Casino again, and that he was trapped when trying to find out more about his past. Oh, and did I mention that Annabeth is pregnant? With the Jacksons trying to raise Nico and cope with their own child on the way, it's going to be one bumpy ride.

Requirements:

Percy can't be a marine biologist.

Percy won't be home when Annabeth goes into labor. Nico will be.

No twins.

No naming the kid something too close to their names. Middle names, however, are an exception to that rule. [e.g. Anne, Perseus]

More challenges coming soon, hopefully!

so this is still a story:

broken

like an old toy that used to be a favorite

but not anymore

obviously

he couldn't keep his eyes off of her

not for a second

completely

so now he thought he could just toss

me aside with her

around

I wouldn't bet on it, hot shot

not a chance,
