Author's note : I got the idea for this tiny story while walking down the cold, dark alley. And I have the feeling that I have to finish it by the end of the day. I think it maybe the Lord. Maybe one, or some of you need to read it. God bless.

His Book

God has a beautiful book cover. It's designed to be able to hold onto a lot of papers. Everytime a soul is about to be born to the world, God would give the soul a bunch of paper, telling it to write the chapter of its life.

It doesn't take long before the souls one by one come back to Him, bringing the written papers with them. And then God would read the chapters one by one.

Some people write really beautiful chapters describing their life. They were born in a comfortable home, had a beautiful childhood, and grew up with love and affection from people around them. They led a life full of obstacles, but they always had helping hands. They didn't miss anything in their life, they achieved all of their goals, and they died happily.

God smiles at the chapters and add them to His book.

Some other people weren't so lucky. They were born in poor families, or incomplete families. Most of the time they were unwanted too. They started their life lacking love and care, and they usually were haunted by this negative start their whole life. Life was never fun for them. Life was harsh. And when they actually died, they felt so happy.

God smiles at the chapters and add them to His book.

Other kinds of people lead mixed life. Sometimes they felt happy, sometimes they felt sad. Sometimes they thought their life was satisfying, sometimes they thought they were a waste of space.

God smiles at the chapters and add them to His book.

And then comes a certain sort of people. They bring their papers too, but their chapters were ripped into pieces. You can't read the content. You can't put the pieces together to recreate the chapter. And you can no longer write on it.

Those people committed suicide and ended their life early.

God gazes at the people with utmost painful expression. He can't add them to His book.

Author's note : Many people wonder why they live in this world. Christianity told us that our life enriches God's holiness. But then we ask ourselves if our lives actually fulfill that purpose. Our lives aren't perfect. Most of us don't have university degrees or married to the same spouse till death comes to take us. But truth is, our lives enrich God's holiness in every single way. The papers in the story are the life God gives us. He wants us to make the best of it. And when it's our time to give our life back to Him, He will accept it. Maybe you write your chapters with a lot of scratches or mistakes. Maybe they look more like dirty used papers than a story of your life. So what? God wants it.

So give the papers back to Him, written with your story of life. Do not torn the paper. Do not end your life early. Why? Because your life is special. Maybe not in your eyes but definitely in His eyes. Else He wouldn't give you any papers right? Else He wouldn't give you any life.

If you carry out your life the best you can, no matter how it starts or ends, be sure to be added to His book. God bless.
