Upon Melancholy Hill
Yay my first fanfic ^(-_-)^ About Gorillaz (if you hadn't known)
Disclaimer: I don't own Gorillaz no matter how much I ask my tooth Fairy. But I do own Lou {OC} in the story (in yo little faces).
Well on with the story….
One Night at Kong Studios... [2-D's room]
They'd just finished watching the third flick of the "Zombie Marathon" that they had spent the afternoon putting together. 2-D was sitting on the edge of his bed, while Lou, an appealing girl with long black hair with highlights of red, was lying on her stomach, clutching a pillow to her not quite petite frame. His pillow. His creamy white, fluffy pillow. He couldn't help but steal little, longing glances at her. Her and her full red lips. Her dark chocolate eyes with the wispy eyelashes. She was beautiful. But he was… 2-D. Why would she ever want him? He sighed and turned back to the TV.
Later during the last movie
"Hey, Stu, wake up. Come on, wake up. Wake Up. Come on, Stu, get up. It's your favorite," Lou ushered, shaking 2-D mildly.
"Huh?" He looked up as "Dawn of the Dead" appeared on the screen. "Oh yeah. T'anks fo waken me up, Lou," He said with a yawn.
"No problem, Stu." She said as she grabbed the pillow again. They sat in a silence for awhile, the screen filled with the post-movie credits.
"Hey, Stu? How many times have you seen this movie?" She asked, leaning over the pillow to look at his face.
"Dunno, seven or sumfink like at. But it's still like my fav'rite, you know. Why?" He turned and looked at her.
"Would you mind missing it?" Lou asked expectantly. 2-D cocked an eyebrow, slightly panicked at her question.
"Maybe a little…Well, no. Prob'ly not." He stared at her with his black orbs looking into her chocolate ones.
"Would you sing for me?"
He thought about it. It wouldn't hurt. "Um, yeah…S-sure…" He replied as he got up with a small sigh of half relief-half disappointment. He walked over and picked up his keyboard from the corner before returning to his seat beside her. He stood it up in front of the bed. She scooted next to him as he turned it on, pressing a couple of warm up notes before-
"Up on melancholy hill
there's a plastic tree
are you here with me?
Just looking out on the day
of another dream"
He peeked at her from the corner of his eye. She stared back. His voice surrounded her, deep and downhearted and nothing like his normal high-pitched voice. It rolled from him and completely wrapped itself around her. 2-D was amazing in concert but was even better live and beside her. He sang on, still looking at her.
"Well you can't get what you want
but you can get me"
"But, Stu, you are what I want."
Lou leaned forward, a small blush spreading over her cheeks, her eyes closed.
And she kissed him.
And he kissed her back.
Up on that melancholy hill.
And the sounds of zombie's moans and people screaming on the TV.
There they kissed.

P.s. I apologize if 2-D's accent was, ahem, bad.
