This is the third in a series of one-shots where the characters of Leverage find out about your self-harm. Check out my profile to read Nate and Eliot's stories :)

Y/N is your name.

You sat alone in your apartment, staring blankly at the razor in your hand. It had been a long week. The last case had involved taking down a crooked lawyer, and in the process the team had discovered the despicable man had been abusing his son as well. You were glad he would rot in jail for the rest of his life.

The case had brought back memories of your own childhood abuse, and here you were - back to the blade. You'd been clean for months now, but every so often you relapsed. Tonight would be one of those nights.

You were about to lift the blade to your arm when you heard a loud thump at your window. You jumped and swiveled your head toward the sound.

Parker?

The slender thief was hanging by a harness, dangling in front of your window. She knocked on the glass, waving for you to open it.

You sighed and let her in. "What are you doing, Parker?"

"Testing out my new harness. Isn't it great?" She beamed with all the excitement of a child at Christmas.

"Yeah, great. Were you spying on me?"

She snorted. "If I was spying on you, you'd never know about it." She walked over to the table and picked up the razor blade. "What's this?" She asked, frowning.

"Nothing." You tried to snatch it out of her hand, but she dodged you. You had very obvious scars on your wrists from past self harm. The team knew about your struggle, but had never really said anything about it; assuming that you were recovered.

Parker looked worried. "Y/N, you weren't about to hurt yourself again, were you?"

"No." You lied, looking down guiltily.

"You're a terrible liar." Parker called you out on it. She marched over to the open window, and tossed the razor blade out into the air.

"Parker!"

"You're not allowed to cut yourself." She said simply. "Come on, let's go steal something. It always makes me feel better." She smiled brightly.

You couldn't help but smile back. The spunky blonde had a way of lifting your spirits. You knew she wouldn't leave you alone with your thoughts tonight.

"Okay," you agreed, knowing that resistance was futile.

She clapped her hands happily, and hugged you. "Let's go!" She said, pulling you towards the door.

You rolled your eyes but followed, secretly grateful. Relapse would have to wait another couple months.
