((a/n: just a few drabbles I wrote one night. Dialogue and ideas came from an in-character IM conversation with a friend, on the lighter side of the relationship. Hope you enjoy!))

1. Polo

Alice pouted.

"Alice, I can't. They're coming off." Jasper informed her, as he began peeling off the many multicolored, popped-collar shirts she'd cocooned him in.

Rolling her eyes, she sighed long-sufferingly and turned the other direction. "Oh fine; rain on my parade." Why he disliked 1980's fashion she couldn't fathom.

Jasper just smirked. "But Alice, now I'm not wearing anything."

Alice turned, looking very thoughtful as she looked him up and down. "... This is an excellent point." A grin spread slowly over her delicate face. "And I know what happens next."

"I thought you might."

2. Scars

Moonlight floated in from the window, illuminating Jasper's chest, and Alice's hand, which was tracing pictures on the intricate network of scars covering it. She bit her lip in concentration and then broke into a smile of impish delight. "HA! I found a turtle!" She'd been at it for hours.

"Yes, Alice." He said dryly. "And look, here's a cat. And here, the letter B. And there, a fox- look, see the tail?" Alice huffed. "And there's a house, and there's a car, and there's a paintbrush-"

She cut him off with a Look, but he kept grinning.

"What? I thought we were finding pictures in my battle scars."

3. Sleep

"If I could, I'd fall asleep to spite you." She informed him decisively.

"I'd move."

She frowned; this was not the desired answer. "That wouldn't be very nice."

"It would depend on how cute you are when you're asleep. If you're drooling, I'm definitely not staying."

She gasped in mock-insult. "How rude! To suggest a lady drools. If I slept, I most certainly would not drool."

He had the sense to try to look contrite, but he was hiding a grin. "You're right, that was rude of me. I'm sorry."

"That's not fair; I can't stay angry when you're polite!"
