Hey! This is the last DN Angel fic today, I swear! Anyway, basically, what happens is Risa, Saehara and Saga wanted to talk to Dark after his latest theft. He gets annoyed and snaps. Possible, interesting plot bunny, but if I don't get round to it, feel free to steal. Written ages ago at midnight one night, so may not be good.
I do not own DN Angel.
Enjoy!
An Interview
Risa Harada, Takeshi Saehara and Teiji Saga were waiting. Waiting for Dark. The trio had decided to try and talk to the Phantom Thief that night, after his latest theft. The plan was simple, follow Dark as he left the Saga wanted to come as he wanted to make a movie of Dark's life. Again. Takeshi Saehara was there to ask the questions, like a real reporter. Risa Harada had come as she had met Dark before and wanted to again. They had asked Daisuke Niwa to come along, as the boy was strangely knowledgable about the thief, but he claimed that his family needed him that night.
Finally, Dark had found the artwork and left in a flurry of feathers. He was too busy thanking his lucky stars that Satoshi was ill, which Daisuke had protested to because he cared about his unlikely friend, to notice the three small figures following him across town.
Dark landed in the park and prepared to rose Daisuke. His host was tired after a long day so Dark had let him sleep, but the boy still had homework to do that night.
The crack of a twig startled the thief out of his thoughts.
"Dark-san!" Risa. Great. Dark really wasn't in the mood for this.
"Hey Risa." He said, turning slowly to see she had two companions, "Who are your friends?" He had recognised the two loud boys from Daisuke's class, but they had never actually met, so it would seem suspicious if he knew them.
Teiji rushed up to the surprised thief and clasped Dark's free hand in both of his. "Teiji Saga, Dark-san! I really admire your work and want to make a film of your life! I can, can't I?"
"Um..."
"And I'm Takeshi Saehara! Reporter extrodinaire!" Takeshi cried, also rushing up to him. "Mind if I ask a few questions?"
"Er..." Personal space, anyone?
"I wish Niwa-kun could have come along, he would have loved this." Risa spoke.
"Who?" Best to be clueless about his host and best friend, who was slowly beginning to stir in the back of their shared mind.
"Daisuke Niwa is this kid in our class. He's alright enough, but he's really quiet." Teiji explained.
"He lets me copy his homework and I always dump cleaning duty on him." Takeshi added.
"You just use him." It was a statement, not a question. Dark's voice was low and dangerous, but no-one heard the warning in there.
"Why else would we be friends with him? That kid's weird." Dark pulled back, he had had enough. No-one insulted his host and got away with it.
"How dare you!" The dark angel growled, "You don't know a thing about Daisuke! He's kind and considerate, unlike you. He accepted me, not matter what was thrown his way because of our friendship. You guys only care because of my fame! I've had enough of this, I'm sick and tired of you following me around. Leave me alone, and that goes for Daisuke too, he deserves better than you. If I find out you've used him again, I will hunt you down and turn your major organs into an external masterpiece! And I will find out." He never shouted, but he was practically growling by the end of his tirade. The Phantom Thief turned to Risa, "Don't try to follow me again. I'm done pretending." Suddenly, his wings snapped out and Dark leapt into the night sky, leaving three confused teenagers behind.
"Well, that could have gone better..."
