"How many dates have you been on with him now?" Akashi asked, grabbing another strawberry from the snack tray on the coffee table.
"A lot," Kuroko replied, turning a watermelon cube over in search for seeds.
"And you still haven't-"
"No," Kuroko interupted as he threw the watermelon cube into his mouth.
"Well you're not very good at seducing people, are you?" Akashi teased.
"Oh please, you couldn't turn on a toaster," Kuroko mumbled into the next watermelon cube.
Akashi smirked, "I'd definitely be able to turn on a toaster, don't be stupid."
After a bit more fruit and a few more challenging remarks, Akashi had led the way to the kitchen. He pulled the toaster out onto the counter, and leaned next to it.
"Hey babe," he cooed, reaching for the electrical cord, "I think I feel a spark between us,"
Kuroko stifled a laugh from the other side of the counter as Akashi plugged the cord into the wall.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have an electrifying personality?" Akashi caressed the toaster before pushing down the bread to be toasted, then looking to Kuroko, "I'm just starting to butter them up,"
Had he not been oddly uncomfortable and trying to repress laughter, Kuroko might have said something about not adding butter until after the bread is toasted.
"Sorry if my seduction skills are a bit crusty," Akashi wooed,"It's been a while since I've tried to grain somebody's attention,"
He was just about to make another horrible pun when the toast popped up.
"That's how it's done, Tetsuya," Akashi declared as he triumphantly buttered the toast.
"You seemed to force the puns toward the end, Sei," Kuroko criticized while recomposing himself.
"Yes, but I proved my point and you and Kagami still haven't-"
"Eat your toast," Kuroko interrupted as he returned to the watermelon cubes on the snack tray.
