In the sunshine, all seemed well. OF course there was much cruelty in these parts, but no one really thought bout these parts in the first place to put much into that. In the Dominions, there are certain places where those who did not do as the King wished, would be sent to these places, just for being their family. In one of these particulare places, near the desert, there was not much happening.
A golden blonde-haired boy was bouncing a rock on his knees, this side that side, flip, flip. The other competitors in this match stood ready, not daring to let the drop of the ball be their fault. The blonde boy kept taunting him, it was as though he were saying 'Want the ball? Come and get the ball. Nope, I'll keep it for a little longer.' Then the blonde boy tossed it over to an unsuspecting boy who started bouncing it immediately. Then there was a tiny 'thump' behind them. The game stopped all a once, and their heads turned.
It was a girl. She had dark brown hair and tanned skin, she was immensly beautiful. Not a boy stirred. What was she doing here? One broke the silence.
"Who the heck is she? She broke our game!" he said furiously. He was the one the blonde boy had passed the ball to.
"Calm down Roland, it's not like she knew or anything. Besides, it looks like she's dead!" Roland kicked a rock that was on the ground. The girl opened her eyes, very slowly to say the least. Then they snapped open. They expected a rude comment or something, the girls around here were very feirce. But that's not what they got.
"I'm sorry." her eyes were a deep blue and the way she met theirs, they became helpless.
"No-it's okay." said Roland, who, just a few minutes ago was objecting her prescence. "Come on, lets take her somewhere safe. Where?"
"My house." said the blonde feircly, as if challenging anyone who objected. No one objected.
Raven was dangerous. There was no doubt about that, that was why he wore a damper collar around his neck continuously. Ten spirit stones are a big responsibility. At one time, his parents were extremely rich, richer than Macaan, easily, and they bought twelve spirit stones. Twelve! And his brother had only received two, and he was older. His stones were of a coal black, the power of the birds. The power of flight. If the damper collar had not been there, he would have probably sprouted wings and flown off. But another thing was holding him back. The stone in the back of his neck stopped him from going anywhere close to freedom. But what, you ask does ten FLYING spirit stones do? You can change into anything, ANYTHING that flys. Even a wyvren. Even a plane, or a helicoptor. Or a cloud. Like I said, anything. But he couldn't control them, so that wasn't that great.
In Raven's house his mother, who used to be a healer took a look at the girl's back. She too, had ten spirit stones. You might wonder if it was a coincidence. But another thing was odd about her, she had no damper collar. A couple days later she woke up.
"Child, do you know your name?" said the woman.
"Sahara."

So? How do you like it so far? A bit weird, but it'll get better and I KNOW it SHORT! So don't bug me about that. You'll find out more as the story goes on. (Obviously)
