"You're still using Firefox? What are you, twelve? Everyone's on Chrome these days, KK."

Sollux sits in Karkat's swivel chair and pushes his way over to Karkat's desk where his computer is.

Karkat crosses his arms and follows him over. "You think I give a shit what other people use? I like Firefox, it works for me. And what about you? You change your software every fucking two weeks."

"That's because I like to be on the bleeding edge at all times." Sollux says as he looks over Karkat's new wall paper of Saints.

"What's that mean?" Karkat asks.

"Christ, I hate explaining this shit. Okay, say OpenSuse comes out with a new version, but it's still being beta tested. I can run it on my computer and see if I like it before it's finished. But wait, Linux has a new Kernel coming out soon, I gotta try that out too. Being on the bleeding edge means being on the edge of the newest software developments, running them before they're even out." Sollux answers.

"And why do you like running different programs again?" Karkat lowers his arms, relaxing.

"Because it's fun. I like seeing what new things can be added, how the technology improves. I just enjoy changing the software so much because I'm never satisfied with one program. That's why I have a virtual machine."

"Are you satisfied with me?" Karkat asks.

Sollux looks up at him. "That's a dumb question. Of course I am."

Sollux looks over Karkat's computer.

"When was the last time your Avast updated?" He asks.

Karkat shrugs, "I don't know."

"It should be updating but it's not. I'll fix that for you."

Sollux begins clicking and typing away, so fast Karkat can barely keep up with the key strokes. Karkat leans against his desk, watching Sollux.

"I really want you to come to church with me and my family tonight." Karkat says.

"Fuck, not this again." Sollux complains.

"Hey asshole, I went with you to Best Buy last week when you needed that new keyboard, why can't you go with me someplace I wanna go?" Karkat asks.

"Your family is catholic, you go to church like three times a week." Sollux replies.

"I'm only asking you to go once a week. It wouldn't kill you to have a little spirituality in your life." Karkat says.

"Look, religion was never my thing, it's cool that you're into it and all, I just don't wanna go." Sollux.

"Come on. Please? It'll make me happy." Karkat grumbles.

Sollux grabs Karkat's wrist and tugs him closer. He pulls Karkat's face close to his.

"I can think of other ways to make you happy." Sollux says.

"You're too much of a dork to attempt to be sexy." Karkat tells him, kissing his forehead before pulling back.

"So that didn't work?" Sollux asks.

"I didn't say that." Karkat replies. "You almost done?"

"Yeah, finishing up now. Your virus blockers are updated. You sure you don't want me to add Chrome to your desktop?" Sollux asks.

"Fuck no. Please come with me to church? I'll let you touch my thigh during the sermon." Karkat says.

"Wow, that's so slutty of you." Sollux says.

"Damn straight. I'm not asking you to convert or anything. I just want you to join me for once." Karkat explains.

"I'll go."

"Really?"

"If you let me install Chrome and you promise to use it every now and again." Sollux clarifies.

Karkat scowls. "Alright, fine."

Karkat can see Sollux's smirk as he begins the installation process. Sollux gasps as Karkat suddenly kisses him near his mouth.

"Thanks man." Karkat mumbles.

"You're welcome." Sollux replies, typing and clicking away.

Karkat feels good when one of Sollux's hands wraps around his waist, rubbing his hip, and pulling him closer.

End.
